Chapter -17

Madhu's POV

Finally I talked with Rohan but what's wrong with RK now? Why is he behaving weird? I guess I should go downstairs and check.

I went downstairs; RK and Bittu Ji were sitting in living room. I moved closer to them and said "Hi."

Bittu Ji replied "Hello Bhabhi Ji."

But RK dint reply and dint even look at me. So it means he is ignoring me but why? I called Rohan from his phone without informing him is the reason?

I tried talking again so I asked both of them "Are you guys coming to Shimla for the first time?"

Bittu Ji replied "We had come here before too."

Still RK dint notice me or replied me. He was busy on his phone and was not moving his eyes from his phone.

Bittu ji's phone started buzzing so he excused himself.

Now we both were alone in living room. So I spoke "So?"

He made an arrogant face and said "So what?"

I asked "Is everything okay with you?"

He replied "Yes." without even looking at me. His eyes were fixed on his phone.

I spoke "Are you playing game in your phone?"

He asked "Why?"

I replied "Your eyes are fixed on your phone. You are not even looking at me seems not interested to talk with me."

He replied "No. It's not like that."

I spoke "Then why are you behaving so weird?"

He replied "Nothing like that."

He dint look at me for once. I decided that I won't ask anything again. He talks whenever he feels so and now ignoring me for no good reason.

After a minute of silence he asked a question which shocked me "Who is Rohan?"

My heart started beating fast. He finally looked at me for an answer. I felt like my heart is in my mouth. Why he wants to know about Rohan?

I spoke after a lot of courage "Rohan is my friend."

He asked "Just friend or?"

I asked confused "What do you mean?"

He was about to say something when Bittu Ji arrived. Bittu Ji spoke "Chief, We need to leave for venue to check all the arrangements."

RK spoke "Why do you need me there? You can check all the arrangements."

Bittu Ji replied "Yes, I can but there is some issue for that they need you there."

RK replied "Okay. Let's go."

I spoke "What about me?"

RK spoke "What about you?"

I replied "What am I supposed to do in a meanwhile?"

RK "You can talk to you friend 'Rohan' in a meanwhile"

I spoke "What?"

He arrogantly asked Bittu Ji to leave "Let's go Bittu Ji."

They left for the venue and I was all alone in that big house. And on top of it Mr.Kundra is behaving weird? What to do now?

I tried watching TV to divert my mind but it dint interest me.

My mind was occupied with thoughts of RK and his rude behavior towards me. I was feeling bad. We become friends yesterday only and today he started ignoring me and taunting me. And reason is so lame. I talked with Rohan and he is angry. But why the hell is he angry? Whatever I just don't care; If he can ignore me I can ignore him too.

He came home after two and half an hour or so. I was watching TV in living room.

I ignored him and left that place. After half an hour, someone knocked my door. I opened it. It was Bittu Ji.

I asked "Yes Bittu Ji?"

He replied "Bhabhi Ji please get ready for inauguration ceremony. We are going to leave in an hour."

He himself dint come to invite me and sent Bittu Ji. Must be angry. I wanted to say no to him to show my anger but I wanted to go out too. After a time I'll be going in some party so no chance that I'll say no.

I replied "Okay. I'll be ready."

After an hour, I was ready to leave for the inauguration ceremony. I just saw myself one last time in the mirror and left the room. I was going downstairs and Mr.Kundra was staring at me with his mouth wide opened.

Madhu's dress

I smiled seeing the view in front of me. He was literally drooling on me. It was clear on his face that he forgot his anger and everything. But revenge time Mr.Kundra. I thought that I'll ignore him but damn he ignored me and asked Bittu Ji to leave.

We sat in the car to leave for the venue, in whole ride his eyes were on me and I could see that from corner of my eyes. We reached to the venue, they welcomed us so warmly. I felt so good. The ceremony started. He gave some speech as he is owner of this Hotel. His speech was quite impressive. No doubts that he is the owner of leading Hotel Chains in India. And the most good looking person I have ever seen. I am not drooling on him but damn he is looking hot in his black suit. I can see all the girls drooling over him. I should feel jealous but I dint feel anything. It's because may be that all eyes are on him but his eyes are on me and only on me.

After his speech, the party started in full swing. Everyone was enjoying the party, except one person, i.e. me. I was standing in a corner all alone. I don't know anyone. He was busy with his friends or clients. Bittu Ji was accompanying him. Rest of the crowd was busy dancing or chit chatting. And I dint know what should I do?

I saw that now RK and Bittu Ji were standing alone. I went near them. As I reached there, a girl came nearby them. She hugged RK and RK hugged him back. I felt like killing that girl there and then. How could she hug RK? Who the hell is she? And RK I want to kill him too. He is giving her compliments. He dint give me compliment not even once. I did so much hardwork to look good but he dint. I felt bad really very very bad. I left that place in anger and went to the bar to drink something. I ordered water to calm myself. But he gave me drink and I was so much angry that I dint even notice and gulped it in a go. Its taste was bitter but I felt good when I drank it. I ordered him the same drink and drank almost three or four glasses. I was about to drink fifth glass when someone stopped my hand. I moved my face to have a look at that person. It was none other than Mr.Rishabh Kundra.

I asked annoyed "What?"

He replied "Are you drinking?"

I replied "So? Give me my drink back."

He replied "No. You have already drunk enough."

I replied angrily "Don't teach me anything. I know it's your party but it doesn't mean you'll do whatever you want and I can't even drink."

He replied "Madhu, You can also do whatever you want but you have already drunk enough. You are not going to drink anymore. It may affect on your health."

I replied "But I want to drink. One last drink."

He spoke "No means no. Okay let's go back to home. "

I replied "Okay."

We came out of the venue I was totally drunk but still I was conscious enough to feel and see my surroundings. We were standing at the gate and he asked driver to bring the car. But I said "No we'll go by walk. See the weather is so romantic."

He spoke "Romantic? Are you crazy? It's about to rain."

I spoke "You said I can do whatever I want right? I am going by walk and you can come in your car."

He replied "No Madhu, I can't leave you all alone in this situation. You can't even walk properly."

I spoke "Shutup! You left me alone in your stupid party. I took care of myself there and I can take care myself here."

He smirked and said "Ahaan. I can see how well you took care of yourself."

I replied "Stop smiling. You are looking like an idiot."

He was shocked and said "What?"

I replied "Yes. I am going by walk."

He replied "Okay, I'll accompany you."

I replied "Okay but one condition you won't disturb me and let me enjoy this romantic weather."

He spoke "Okay. As you say."

We started walking on the road. We both were quite. I was angry on him so I spoke

"You know what? I am angry with you."

He replied "Ohh but why???."

I said "Don't behave like a kid. You knew it."

He spoke "No seriously I dint know."

I spoke "If I'll ask you something will you reply honestly?"

He replied "Yes. I will."

I asked him "Am I ugly?"

He spoke "NOOO!! Who said that?"

I spoke "I know. I am ugly that's why you dint give me compliment not even once. But you gave compliment to that ugly looking girl."

He started laughing and spoke "Are you mad? If I haven't given you compliment that doesn't mean you are ugly."

I spoke "You are liar. You are telling a lie."

He spoke "No trust me. I am not telling a lie."

I replied "Okay than prove it."

He spoke "Prove but how?"

I shrugged my shoulder and said "I don't know."

He stopped and took my face in his hands and spoke "You know Madhu. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Before meeting you, I dint even know the meaning of beautiful. I had never used beautiful word for any girl except you. If anyone will ask me what beauty means I'll say its 'Madhubala'. For me you are the definition of beauty."

I was just blinking my eyes and was lost in his words. It was like a fairy tale. My prince is standing in front of me and complimenting me and making me feel special.

He asked "Just by seeing the look at your face I can see I have passed this exam."

I smiled and replied "Yes."

He spoke "And I had given compliment to that girl because I knew she won't leave me until and unless I'll compliment her. Just to get rid from her I gave her compliment."

I asked "So why you have not given compliment to me?"

He spoke "I was scared."

I asked confused "Scared of what?"

He replied "Ke kahin tumhe meri nazar na lag jaaye."

His words made such a big impact on me that first time I blushed. And I was sure that he must have noticed my face which turned into a red color.

Today I lost something, something important. I don't know what but I am sure I did lost something.
