it is inspired from this Saturady's epi. hope u will like it!

and one more thing..this might be the last update in this month..cuz i have my exams coming up...so from today i have to study...you can expect updates from 26th Oct onwards..! just wanted to inform u guys now only..!

"happy b'day saakshi" arjun said. Saakshi looked at him confused. This man! Phew! He and his plethora of moods. But he had saved her today,she owed him her life. Sounded good na? Owed him her life!

The terrorists were caught and Saakshi was saved thanks to our super intelligent ACP. He walked towards his SUV and opened the door but stopped,like something struck his mind. He looked at Saakshi who was still looking at him.He walked back to her.

Saakshi stood there clueless as to why he was coming back,she was a little nervous also..who knows this man will be uber sweet sometimes and sometimes red as a chilli.

"tum chalo mere saath" he said looking at her directly.

Woah ! she was taken aback.

"huh?" she said , her voice containing a mix of confusion and surprise.

"main hi tumhe ghar drop kar deta hoon..u'll be safe with me" he said the last words looking away.

"u'll be safe wid me" did he just say that? Saakshi thought. She smiled at him and nodded in approval.

He turned around and walked away. Saakshi turned back to say goodbye to everyone. Aisha smiled a bit more. Saakshi caught that and blushed.

He opened the door for her. hmm a bomb had affected this ACP so much, well i'd like to say a bomb on SAAKSHI had affected him .

She looked closely at him as he closed the door gently,like even a loud noise would crumble her. His soothing rough actions made her heart skip a beat.

He jumped into the SUV and drove back home.

It was almost 6 when they reached her house,thanks to the evening traffic in Mumbai. As the car neared her house,Arjun looked at her assuring himself, that she's fine. She looked back at him at the same time.

The sun's orange glow fell on her face,making her face sparkle. It caught his eyes. Her face seemed to be important than the road ahead,he could'nt take his eyes off her.

They suddenly jumped. He came back to his senses and Saakshi let out a silent cry at the jump. The car stopped abruptly. He got down immediately and looked at the tier. "damn!" he said and banged his fist on the car.

"arjun mera ghar sirf 2 min ke doori par hain...main chali jaongi... yahan aage ek mechanic rehtha hain.." saakshi said from the car.

"chalo main tumhe ghar tak chod deta hoon" arjun interrupted and he paced towards her door.

Hello Mr.? Didn't i say i'll go on my own? She thought. Anyways when the love of your life saamne khada aapka itna fikhar kar raha hain then play along!

She smiled mentally and got down. They walked towards her house. It was awkward,for they were just walking side by side like strangers. There were no people actually on the road accept for these two. So that kinda made it queerer.

"arjun.." saakshi finally broke the silence.

"haan saakshi" he asked.

"thank u" she said cutely looking at him.

"main tho sirf apna duty kar raha tha.." he managed to say and immediately regretted saying it. o god now she'll think I did it with a perspective of doing my duty!

Duty? Hmm..She felt bad. She managed a weak smile to acknowledge his answer. They reached her house.

They stood facing each other.

"phir se thank u..and ghar tak chodne ke liye bhi thank u" saakshi said.

Arjun nodded in response.

Saakshi's heart grew heavy. Must he go so soon? She thought. Arjun turned around to go. I wish something could hold me back he thought.

Just then saakshi asked "arjun ek cup chai?" she literally blurted. She was desperate, he could sense that.

How can our ACP say no to chai? But.. "saakshi tum takleef kyun logi chai banana ka..its fine" he said with a ...wait..what the hell A SMILE? Small one thought,it was still shocking.

This day couldn't just get weirder for Saakshi.

"aapne aaj mere liye itna takleef kiya..main kya aapke liye ek cup chai nahin bana sakti?" she said sweetly looking into his eyes.

He replied in positive after she said that.

He followed her into the house. She removed her keys from her pocket and unlocked the door in nervousness as his proximity was driving her crazy already. The door opened with a noise and they barged in.

"arjun tum baito..main chai laathi hoon"

Arjun nodded like a small baby and sat down on the couch. It was wierd for both of them,much stranger to Arjun. He cant believe he was sitting in her house to drink a cup of chai. What has happened to me? He thought. He definitely couldn't have said no when she asked him so sweetly like that. A small corner smile crept up when he thought of how she had asked him.

He looked around at the house. Well maintained ! he couldn't help but notice the front wall covered with a collage of Saakshi's and her family's photos.

He looked at the photos. "she looks very happy..and beautiful too" he thought dreamily gazing at the photos. When he realised what he had said..he was shocked. "ye mujhe kya ho raha hain.?" He thought. For a moment he thought he would get up and go,but that would be rude. Oh! From when did Mr.Akdu ACP start caring about Saakshi's feelings.

So he looked towards the kitchen, waiting eagerly for his chai. As moved his head to see Saakshi in the kitchen,he felt an unfamiliar anticipation in him to see her. it felt like her sight would make his day,like her face governed his life,like her smile was all he could ask for.

He jumped back when she appeared suddenly with his chai. He looked away really fast in order to calm his racing nerves.

She kept the tray down with had 2 cups of chai. She handed one to him and took the other one. They both sipped the chai silently. They kept looking at each other while drinking. Both wondered how to start a conversation,as the silence was getting really awkward.

They kept looking awkwardly at each other. They could see only each others' eyes as they drank. Their eyes yearned to look at each other. The intense eyelocks were working their magic.

Their chai unfortunately got over. He kept the cup down and so did she. He got up to leave. Saakshi was content,this day was the best day of her life even though she was in grave danger today and all that that happened. But this man,this mighty man standing in front of her saved her,risked all odds and saved her finally. He was the best birthday gift.

She followed him to the door. As he opened the door with her standing behind him, the first shower of the day fell on them. They closed their eyes at the sudden attack of the sky. He shut the door close as the rain was very heavy.

He turned around to find Saakshi dangerously close to him. Surprised,he moved back.

"bearish zyada hain...if u don't mind..can i stay till it stops..?" he asked looking here and there.

She couldn't help but smile at his cute request. He said it so cutely,like a 5-year-old. She looked down as excitement bound her.

"i would never mind" she whispered slowly.

They looked at each other. Few rain drops were dancing on her face..his hair was wet...they felt a spark of passion igniting in their eyes.

He moved closer only to find her blush and run towards the door. He turned back to see what had gotten into her now. He turned back to find the door open and Saakshi standing still in the rain with her head held high and eyes closed.

He couldn't help but gaze as this amazingly beautiful standing in front of him. he leaned sideways on the door and gaped at her mindlessly. She looked so serene,so peaceful.

The day was very hectic for Saakshi obviously. From the happiness of Arjun wishing her first to the pain of losing him forever today was washing away with the water. The rain swept away all her fears,all inhibitions,all her doubts and she could feel her heartbeat again.

Her clothes clung to her body like second skin. his eyes were tracing her curves. Suddenly he felt something pulling him forcefully at her. it was like he couldn't stop himself,like he couldn't resist himself from walking towards her.

For the first time in many years,Arjun Rawte stepped into the pouring rain with anything but pain. This time he felt a serious drag towards her,like his entire life would have no meaning if he wouldn't go stand next to her in the rain.

He stood behind her. she turned around sensing him. They looked at each other and they just kept looking!

He swan him hands on her back and pulled her to crash against his chest. He wrapped his hands around her protectively and she returned his gesture by burying her head in his chest and hugging him tightly.

Her eyes welled up, tears began to fall like pearls down her face.Arjun wrapped his one hand around her waist and with the other he caressed her head lovingly. Her diseased self loosened up, she felt relaxed in his arms..she felt safe in his arms..

He realised his true reason of being alive today. Life had given him another chance, a rare chance and no way he was going to lose it. only he knows the pain that crushed him when he saw Saakshi helplessly fight for herself today. Only he knew of the pain which was twisting him inside,which was slowly tearing his flesh as the deadline came close. Only he knew of the pain,of losing her today..
