Its early morning. Birds are singing melodies and adding beauty to the atmosphere. The weather outside is chilly due to rainfall. A soul is peacefully sleeping hugging his pillow. His sleep is disturbed by some noises. He wakes up with bulgy eyes and finds himself hugging his pillow. Last day's incidents are replayed in his mind. There is a sweet smile on his face today. Rey recalls his friends and family agreeing to his decision. He recalls Sharon's care his Mom's love and affection and Taani's assuring smiles. This broadens his smile.

Rey thinks, 'Mujhe Khushi se jald hi milna chahiye aur batana chahiye ki vo ab kahi nahi jaane wali. And most importantly Taani ko thank karna hoga. Agar vo support nahi karti toh aaj yeh possible nahi hua hota. But Taani ko kaise pata chala ki mein kya soch raha hun? How did she read my mind, that too so well? She was my supporting pillar yesterday.'

'Rey, mere jaane ke baad tumhari life mein ek supporting pillar aayegi aur voh tumhari companion ban jayegi!' Words by Tina in their childhood flashed back in his mind.

He thinks, 'Kya Taani hi meri companion..no how's that possible. Taani mujhe sirf apna atcha friend maanati hai. Uska companion toh koi Prince hi hoga. I'm damn sure voh mujhe iss duniya ka sabse bada flirt samajhti hai!' He smiled thinking this. 'Rey tu galat direction mein jaa raha hai. Taani is a sweet friend of yours. Don't ruin the friendship.' He went to freshen up.

Same time at Taani's place. Taani is deeply engrossed in her thoughts. Her Mom's call breaks her thoughts.

"Hey Mom" she answered.

"Taani tum toh Mumbai jaake mujhe bhool hi gayi ho" said her Mom in a dramatic way and giggled.

Usually Taani would have reverted back but today she just said, "Nahi Mom, aisa kuch nahi hai."

"Taani tum theek ho?" asked her Mom worrying after listening to her reply.

"Mom I'm totally fine. Bas kal kuch aisi baate pata chali ki, pata nahi, aaj kuch different different sa lag raha hai" said Taani staring outside her window.

"Kaisi baate?" asked her Mom.

Taani tells her everything.

"Taani tumhe kaise pata chala ki Rey kya soch raha hai?" asked her Mom.

"Pata nahi. Bas pata chal gaya!" replied Taani.

"So what now?" she again asked.

"What what?" asked Taani.

"Uff..tumhe itna bhi samajh nahi aa raha that you like your Mr. Flirt!" exclaimed her Mom.

"Mom! Don't start again! Aisa kuch nahi hai!" Taani snapped back.

"Toh fir tum itni affect kyun ho rahi ho?" she asked.

"Because he is my friend!" said Taani and continued, "Bye Mom aap mujhe fir se pagal kar degi!"

Taani kept the phone and thought, 'Mom humesha chalu ho jaati hai yaar! How can I like Rey! I mean usme koi burayi nahi hai, but he still loves Tina. Uski aakhon mein clearly dikh raha tha!' Taani sighed and freshened up and left for Singhania Mansion.

At the dining table, the family was having breakfast. Rey descended down his room.

"Finally Kumbhkaran uth gaya!" said Swayam.

Rey gave him an angry glare.

"Kumbhkaran ko bhook lagi hogi isiliye neeche aa gaye!" said Sharon and giggled.

"Mere bete ko pareshaan mat karo tum dono!" said his Mom.

"Mein toh aapka beta hun hi nahi!" said Swayam dramatically and sighed.

"Tum toh mere sweet se bete ho" she said hugging Swayam.

Swayam looked at Rey and showed his tongue to him. Rey just shook his head. The doorbell rang Rey went to see.

"Rey ka mood abhi bhi off hai!" said Sharon.

"Yaa..no reaction at all!" Swayam frowned.

"Swayam, Rey ko batana mat ki Taani knows about Tina" whispered Sharon.

"Kyun?" he asked.

"Reason baad mein, not now!" said Sharon and continued eating.

Rey opened the door and found Taani standing. Both saw each other and smiled. Their eyes met. They kept standing there looking into each other's eyes.

"Rey who is at the door?" His Mom's voice got them back.

Taani came in. Rey closed the door and both came to the dining table.

"Hi Taani" greeted Sharon.

"Hey" said Taani giving a broad smile to all.

"Tum yaha itni subah?" asked Rey.

"Haan vo meine socha ki kyun na mein bhi tum sab ke saath chalu" she replied.

"Kaha?" asked Rey.

"Khushi ko lene!" she answered.

Rey immediately looked towards his Mom and Dad. They both nodded saying yes. Rey gave a huge happy smile. All of them had a smile seeing him happy. They had their breakfast together.

"Okay listen, you kids are not coming with us to take Khushi" stated his Mom.

"Kyun?" they all groaned.

"Let me complete. All of you will wait outside the orphanage. We two will go and talk to Khushi. Khushi ko hume bhi toh pasand karna chahiye. Hai ki nahi?" she said and winked.

"Arre but aap dono Khushi se baad mein bhi toh baat kar sakte hai" said Rey.

"We are allowing you to come to the orphanage. Agar jyada natak kiya toh voh bhi allow nahi karenge" said his Dad.

"Nahi nahi nahi!" all of them exclaimed.

All left for the orphanage. They soon reached. His Mom and Dad went into the office where Granny was seated while Rey, Taani, Swayam and Sharon were hiding outside and looking at the things going on inside.

"Welcome Mr. and Mrs. ..?" said Granny.

"Singhania" replied Mrs. Singhania.

"Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Singhania! How may I help you?" replied Granny and smiled.

"Actually..um..hume bhagwaan ne do pyaare se twin boys se bless kiya hai. Dono bohot hi alag aur honhar hai, bas ek beti ki kami hai" started Mrs. Singhania.

"Actually beti ki kami nahi hai. But har maa baap ki tarah humare bhi kuch sapne the ki agar beti hogi toh usse bade lad pyaar se paalenge. Usse koi tang karega toh usko sat sat ke marenge. Aur uski shaadi bade hi dhoom dhaam se karenge" continued Mr. Singhania.

"Toh aap dono yaha ek pyari so beti adopt karne aaye ho?" asked Granny with a smile.

"Haan" replied Mrs. Singhania.

"Kya aapke dono beto ko yeh baat pata hai?" she asked with concern.

"Haan vo dono jaante hai" replied Mr. Singhania.

"Humare yaha orphanage mein abhi do pyaari si aur natkhat bacchiyan hai. Yeh rahi unki photo (She shows them two photos. One was of a girl about 15 years old and other was of Khushi). Hum yaha pehle parents ko bacchon ki photo dikhate hai fir baccho se milwate hai. Isse they don't feel bad ki unhe reject kar diya" replied Granny giving a smile.

"Yeh bacchi toh bohot pyaari hai" said Mrs. Singhania picking up Khushi's photo.

"Mom and Dad ko manana padega. Kya acting kar rahe hai Granny ke saamne ki voh Khushi ko jaante tak nahi!" said Rey.

"Aakhir Mom Dad kiske hai!" said Swayam pulling up his collar.

"Oh hello! Who mere bhi Mom Dad hai! So jyada uchal mat!" Rey snapped back.

"Sharon tum inhe manage kaise karti ho?" asked Taani giggling.

"Don't ask Taani!" Said Sharon shaking her head.

"Iska naam Khushi hai. She's five years old. Uske parents do saal pehle ek car accident mein maare gaye" said Granny.

"Kya hum Khushi se mil sakte hai?" she asked.

"Yeah sure. Mein abhi usse neeche bulati hun" said Granny and sent a kid up to call Khushi.

"Granny aapne Khushi ko kyun bulaya?" asked Khushi coming into the room.

"Haan beta come here. Inse milo yeh hai Mr. and Mrs. Singhania" she said introducing them.

"Beta come here" called Mr. Singhania.

"Khushi beta kya aap naye ghar mein jana pasand karogi?" asked Mrs. Singhania hesitantly.

Khushi looked at Granny. Granny nodded in yes.

"Khushi ko sochna padega" she said making everyone smile.

"Khushi is so cute!" said Taani.

"Very!" replied Rey.

They both looked at each other and were again lost in each other's eyes. Sharon saw this and decided not to disturb them.

"Kuch socha Khushi ne?" asked Mrs. Singhania.

"Kya app mere new mumma dadda ho?" she asked innocently.

"Agar aap chahe toh hum ban jayenge" replied Mr. Singhania.

"Khushi aapko apne new mumma dadda banayegi, but Khushi ki three conditions hai!" she said.

"Conditions? Kya hogi? Yeh toh meine kabhi socha hi nahi!" exclaimed Rey.

"Rey relax! Khushi maan jayegi. Usse uncle aunty pasand aaye hai" Taani assured him.

"Aur Khushi ki conditions kya hai?" asked Mrs. Singhania lovingly.

She didn't worry about her conditions much. As she knew how to deal with kids and their conditions very well. After growing up Rey and Swayam together she was sure she can handle any kid.

"Khushi ki conditions yeh hai ki.." started Khushi.
