Ganesh asks Mahadev how can they help Mata Parvati, to which Mahadev says, by her worship. Kartikeya smiles knowingly, as Ganesh asks, which forms of mata should we worship.
Mahadev replies, "Your Mata has myriad forms, but the worship of Navadurga forms is the most beneficial. They are: Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, CHandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata (Kartikeya's eyes sparkle), Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidhatri."
Malla tells an upset Mani that Aghora cannot do the next sthapana as he has to enter a dense jungle where even animals cannot survive.
Aghora enters the jungle and is caught by some tribals, who surround him and take him to their leader. They tell their leader that he has come to do the second sthapana of Kali Devi. The tribal leader says that he has been sent to these forests to prevent the sthapana, so he cannot allow it. BUt he tells Aghora that if he defeats two of his most formidable warriors, then he will allow the Sthapana.
In the mud ring, the warriors cover their bodies with slush (mud+water=yuck) and attack Aghora. After a long (and filthy) fight, Aghora succesfully defeats the warriors. He then cleans himself and does the Sthapana and Pooja of Mata Kali. One more of the ansh of Mata Kali disappears from the fire yantra (of Malla and Mani), and Parvati is happy.
Mahadev is pleased and tells his sons that the second Sthapana is over. Brahmadev and Narada appear, and ask Mahadev how to repel the negative energies of Malla and Mani. Mahadev tells them to concentrate on positive energies and Mainavati says the best way to do this is by Navadurga Pooja. Saptarishi arrive there and Mahadev invites them to the first ever Yagya at Kailash, the Navaratri yagya.
Malla is furious and asks Tugra how did Aghora defeat the tribals in the jungle (I think this was the western direction). Tugra tells them about it and says that now Aghora will proceed to the eastern direction. Malla announces that he himself will attack Aghora now.
Precap: Malla and Mani along with the Aghoris proceed east, where they confront Aghora.
