The moon light pierced into his room, the windows were kept open letting the cold harsh wind hit the room. An only occasional sound of the cicada was heard, while the place was silenced by an unknown fear. He sat on his study table trying hard to finish the project given to him, but his minds kept drifting to the party, her sweet smile, her innocent face and then all came stumbling down as he recalled the fact that she was married, for the first time in his life he felt himself so helpless and so lost. But definitely he was not kind of a person who would stake his love instead he was going to fight for her as he was aware that she belonged to Him. He smashed the laptop on the floor as he screamed his lungs out
RAJDEEP: you are MINE manyata only mine
An evil glint was clearly visible in his eyes, he visualized the future in a very cruel way. It was the silence before the storm.
She kept tossing and turning on the bed, she was not being able to sleep. The question were not answered yet, and she made a mental note not to speak to him till the time her questions were answered and this time he too did not make any attempt to speak instead he too adapted silence. Though both DS and Menuka noticed the change but did not bother disturbing their privacy. Uday too slept at the other edge of the bed, he wanted to avoid her and her questions as he needed time to think of what he should say to her. He felt guilty of himself, he felt bad for cheating over his wife but he was scared that if the truth was to be revealed to her she might hate him and leave him forever. Both were awake yet were not ready to talk to each other. They slept at the edge of the bed, each passing seconds became hard for them to resist talking to each other. Manyata was not ready to give up this time she wanted an answer but hardly did she kept any time to think as occasionally her stomach cramp took over her mind. It had been more than a week since she was having those scamps and abnormal bleeding but due to neglect the scamps increased and today it had reached the highest point of pain. She turned towards the open window as hot tears ran down her eyes. Her scamps were getting even worse by each passing moment. Her soft sobs got uday attention as he laid his hands on her shoulder and asked her
UDAY: Manyata are you fine?
She jerked his hands and replied scornfully
MANYATA: it is better if you stop worrying about me Uday
But he paid no heeds to her words, he kick the blanket off his body and get to the table, with a glass of water he comes to her and offers her. She manages to sit by then but does not take the water instead she turns her face and says in a sharp tone
MANYATA: I do not need anything so stop bothering yourself
He is aware that his wife is not angry but hurt and it is time to comfort her as he sits on his knees and takes her hands into his and says piercing his eyes into hers
UDAY: Wifey you want your answers right
Manyata shook her head in a stern yes as he sat beside her with his eyes fixed down
UDAY: but you have to make me a promise after knowing this you are not going to leave me
She gave him an assuring look as for now nothing more than the truth matter to her and he too knew that it was time to confront he could not keep her in darkness anymore as he said
UDAY: wifey I am not a good person I lied to you on several things... since from the very first day I have been cheating on you Manyata. You was so truthful and honest to me but I had always been horrible to you and I am really sorry for that actually the truth you before I married you I loved a girl but she rejected my proposal and even I married only because my mother wanted me to marry. I hated you as I blamed you for my rejection and behaved in that harsh way then the same girl came back to my life and I did as she asked me to do. I was so blinded in her love that I could not see that I am hurting you so much but the day in hospital when I saw you I felt so bad, I felt so lost I realized that even a day without you in my life was not possible I love you Manyata and I did not say all this as I did not you to leave me ... I am sorry can't we forget all this please
He looked at her face, which has turned all pale by then, there was not a single tear or any emotion in her face she just asked while she continued to look out of the window
MANYATA: is the girl Jai your boss
UDAY: YES but what she said about me forcing
Before he could even complete his sentence he watched her taking her pillow and going to the other end of the room. There she placed her bed on the sofa he followed her there as he back hugged her and cried like a small child saying
UDAY: I am sorry Manyata I am so sorry please forgive me
She turned her face was turned into stone as she replied coldly
MANYATA: uday would you react in the same way if I said I had an affair with Aryaan or I spend my night with him
She watched anger boiling inside him but today no one could stop her from speaking her heart out as she continued
MANYATA: would you like it if your wife does one night stand with her boyfriend ... would you except me if you knew that I was touched by aryaan before being all yours
He could no longer maintain peace as he grabbed her arms and said gritting his teeth
UDAY: MANYATA JUST SHUT UP NOT A WORD MORE DON'T YOU DARE FORGET THAT I AM YOUR HUSBAND AND YOU BELONG TO ME ... YOU CANNOT BREAK THE PROMISES WE MADE TO EACH OTHER OF STAYING TOGETHER DURING MARRIAGE. HOW CAN YOU EVEN SAY ALL THIS? She continued to stare at him and after sometime when he calmed a bit and realizing what he did, he left her hand as she sat down on the sofa and said to him with her eyes boiling with anger
MANYATA: how could you forget the fact that I am your wife while sleeping with Jai? How could you break all those promises? How could you cheat me Uday? If you could not forgive me then why shall I forgive you uday?
He looked at her, at a point he knew she was not wrong but then this was the thing he feared he did not want her away from his life and now after every confront she was drifting away from him and he could not do anything before he could even say a word she was out of the room as he crumbled down on the floor and cried
UDAY:I REALLY LOVE YOU MANYATA AND NO MATTER WHAT I WILL NEVER LET YOU GO AWAY FROM ME NEVER...
She walked up the steps as her tears continued to fall, she was completely scattered and broken. Her legs shivered and her heart ached like anything. She was completely lost as she stood near the terrace railing and screamed the pain that build in her heart
MANYATA: why uday? Why did you cheat me? You should tell me the truth long ago! Why did you break my heart? Why did you break my heart? Why uday?
She crumbled down on the cold floor, her body ached but she refused to get up as she continued to cry her heart out. Her scamp's pain got even more worse as unknown to her she fell conscious due to the pain. Uday had just witnessed this and in no time he took her into his arms and then took her into the bed room. He laid her on the bed as he sprinkled water on her face she came into sense but then again drifted away to sleep. Her eyes looked tired and her face looked worried. Uday hated watching her this way as he held her hands and caressed her face the entire nightdone with the update
