The Billionaire's Unknown Daughter

Chapter 2: I Found You

"She is mine, isn't she?" he said staring at the angel who did not acknowledge the tension between the two.

Geet felt her heart beating faster. The pain and the longing in his eyes made her guilty. She remembered her aunt's advice.

"Tell him Geet, even if you're not together, tell him, he'll man up and take his responsibilities. He's also to be blame".

She had laughed bitterly when her aunt had told her that thinking he would run away in fear, it was better for both of them, the baby and her, never to tell him. He was cruel and rude and would have definitely push her away.

"She is yours" she whispered staring at the other children playing 'You're It'.

He hissed and grabbed her daughter from her arms and cradled her closer to his, inhaling her scent which was a mixture of the baby cologne, her sweat and her baby powder. He patted Mia's cheeks and his eyes were glassy.

Mia smiled showing him her growing tooth.

"Do you want to play with me?" she asked cutely. He nodded, he could not form words.

"We need to go, Mia needs her afternoon nap" Geet quietly said.

"You should stop making decisions!" Maan spat venomously glaring at her.

"Don't you dare, don't you dare to make as if you care about Mia" Geet shot back.

"She's my daughter" Maan simply replied.

Geet did not reply. She was not going to waste time trying to argue with him. She simply stood awkwardly as he held Mia closer who was busy playing with his hair.

"Momma" Mia said breaking her thoughts.

"Yes, baby" Geet replied immediately turning her attention to her daughter.

"I want to eat clouds" Mia stated.

"But baby, clouds are so high"

"But I want them" Mia pouted making a puppy face.

"You can't - " Geet started but she knew it was useless to argue with her daughter. She was stubborn and she knew it.

"Well then" Geet replied wisely, "when you become older and taller, you can surely eat clouds".

"Really Momma!" Mia gasped in wonder, staring lovingly at the blue sky.

Geet chuckled and ruffled her daughter's hair "but for that, you should eat a lot of vegetables".

"But Momma I hate vegegables!" she whined pouting, looking so cute.

"Vegetables" Maan corrected his daughter as he snuggled her closer.

"Vegegables!" Mia cried excitedly looking proud at Maan who merely chuckled at her daughter's antics.

Geet stared at him, wondering if she ever did the best decision to keep the secret of their daughter unknown to Maan.

"Okay" Mia pouted, bitting her bottom lip, "I will eat vegegables" she said cutely staring at Maan as she pronounced the word.

Maan laughed and started to walk to his car, which Geet assumed was.

"Wait! Where are you going?" she called running after him.

"Home" he grunted out.

"Our apartment is in the other direction" Geet frowned staring at him confused.

Maan stared at her, watching her expressions until he realised that he was staring.

"I mean my home where Mia rightfully belongs".

"No she doesn't" Geet argued.

What the hell was he thinking? Was he staking his claim on their daughter?

"No Geet, she is the heir of my business, she rightfully belongs there! She is my as well, but you seem to have forgotten that!"

"Stop making as if it's my fault when you know it isn't! It was yours, you left. You wanted a break! It's not my fault if I thought you would run away when I would have told you about Mia! It's you all along! You wanted a break" she ranted and took a deep breathe.

He stared at her dumbstruck.

"She's still my daughter" he said and walked to the other direction. Geet tried to follow his pace.

"Wait, where are you going?" Geet asked breathlessly.

Maan turned to face her and she could swear she saw a quick flash of emotion in his eyes.

"She fell asleep" Maan said staring at Mia who was snoring softly, her face muffled in his arms.

"It's time of her nap" Geet replied gazing affectionately at her daughter.

"You said your appartment is in the other direction" Maan replied to her question.

They walked silently as Maan followed Geet.

Geet fumbled with the keys and opened the door allowing Maan to step it.

"Where's her room?" he demanded.

Geet indicated and followed him on his tail.

It was a pretty decent room, with pink walls and Princesses wallpapers and a small wardrobe on the left.

"She loves pink" Maan smiled looking around.

"She loves pink and princesses" Geet whispered as she covered Mia with her blanket.

Maan kissed his daughter's forehead and left the room while Geet quietly followed him and silently closed her door of Mia's room.

She found Maan pacing, lost in his thoughts.

Hearing her footsteps, he halted and turned to face her. "You and Mia are coming to live with me in my house".

Geet's neck snapped to his direction when she heard his absurd request.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me Geet".

"No we're not".

"Yes you are. You've robbed three years of my daughter's life from me, aren't you happy".

She rolled her eyes. "Get over it, Maan. Stop pretending like you care! We're not going to live with you and that's final".

"Really Geet" Maan hissed grabbing her arms and dragging her closer till they were chest-to-chest. Geet squirmed feeling uncomfortable. His angry eyes blazed with sadness, if it was possible.

"I won't hesitate to take actions against you Geet. I may send this matter to the court and believe me, one way or another, I'll make you lose so that they held Mia to me" he threatened.

That heartless bas***d!

"You can't do that!"

"I can Geet if you don't come to live with me. I am Mia's father!"

"My daughter has no father" she glared and spat. "There was not your name on her birth certificate!"

"Believe me Geet, I will definitely win the custody of our daughter, money can be a blessing at times" he hissed as he tucked a lock of hair behind her ears.

Geet held her breath. She hated him so close; she could not think properly.

"You're an a**" she retorted not bothering to hide her disgust.

"That I am".

He could not take her daughter away from her. He just could not! She was hers, only hers. But she knew better. Maan would definitely try to use his money to win.

"You can...you can visit Mia every weekend or in the afternoon, we can reach a peaceful agreement" she argued faintly. She was still in his arms and he had not yet realised that.

"No, I am not going to be a holiday day. I am going to be an active father in my daughter's life".

"Too bad, it's a bit late, don't you think" Geet snapped.

"And whose fault is it, Geet, mine?!" he bit back.

She did not reply. He had every right to be angry with her. She had not even dream that he would love their daughter so much. In her defense, the way they had broke up was too much to handle and had made her take bad decisions. No matter what had happen between them, he should have known about Mia, about her pregnancy.

"Tomorrow, you and Mia will move in with me, I will send movers to your place and other workers to pack your belongings."

"Have you lost your mind somewhere?!"

He did not reply.

She knew what she was going to do. She would leave the country and change her name and live in some remote part of another country. He would never find her.

"Don't even think about running away!" Maan sneered.

She glared at him.

"What about your fiancee? What will she think about your ex-girlfriend and her daughter moving in with you" she fired.

"That is none of your problem" Maan said thoughtfully "if she has a problem with Mia, my daughter, she can very well go to hell".

He just as cruel as he was years back.

"Tomorrow Geet, I want you and Mia in my house" he replied firmly.

Geet gulped, she had a feeling it was not going to end here.

"So Mia likes princesses" Maan asked staring at Geet and his eyes widened as he realised that he was holding Geet, too close for her liking.

Geet nodded and missed the warmth of his arms, feeling cold at once.

"She likes Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid - you know Ariel, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty..." Geet listed softly remembering her daughter's face.

"She also likes pink" Maan said bemused. "Then she's going to have a Princess room, with Ariel and Beauty and the Beast" he chuckled softly "with Cinderella and the Prince Charming..." Maan said, lost in his thoughts.

I did not know you watch Disney movies.

"She also loves Disney Princesses" Geet added.

Maan smiled and nodded. "Good bye Geet, see you tomorrow".

Oh, he definitely had something in his mind!

I am so glad you continued!!!

Maan was acting pretty fast there with Mia. All of a sudden he wants to be Father of the Year.

I do not blame Geet for not telling Maan about being pregnant and I am glad she told him off.

I am not sure yet whether there was more to the breakup - a misunderstanding or something. I want there to be a misunderstanding so that neither party is guilty but so far Maan has not shown any indication that what Geet said was wrong.

Hmm, looking forward to more!!!!!!

ab wo apni daughter aur geet ko ghar le k ja raha he ..par us samay geet k saath jab break up kiya tab ye kyu nahi socha k geet kaise survive karegi us k bina ...bhale hi man k liyue geet time pass thi par geet k liye to maan uska pehla pyar tha ...

how can maan b so selfish ..ab usko apni fiancee ki bhi fikar nhai .he ...par maan k character ko dekh k lagta he k maan geet k break up k peeche jarur koi baathe ...may b maan ko geet k baare me koi MU ho ...

story is getting super interesting day by day ...plz update soon ab dekhna he k maan k dimaag me kya chal raha he ...

want to read more n more ...ab aage kya hoga ...maan to abhi bhi apni galti realize nahi kar raha aur geet ko blame kar rahah he ...geet aur mia ko saath rakhega aur fiancee ka kya karega ...?

Father Of The Year! LOL I will definitely use that one the next part of the story! 😊
Don't be harsh on Maan, I am sure you'll like him a tiny bit in the next part or well, you'll hate him more 😆 there will be definitely more arrogance from Maan's part 😆
