I was so happy to see MA get worked up about Jalal's feelings for Jodha. Jalal brooding about his begum did not bring so much joy as much did MA's helplessness that his son is slipping away. How arrogantly you let your lady love know that you hate her. Here you are entwining Jodha's hateful hair in your fingers and recollecting the past incidents. Jalal remembers that she stood up for him. He remembers the agony on her face when she wasn't even thankful for saving her life. He remembers the horse ride and her glancing at him. Sure, we forgive you as that is the best defence you got (I hate you) against all the unknown feelings that have started developing in your non-existent heart for Jodha. His sharp and perceptive brain understands what Jodha went through in the last few days. He understand this not only because he has been through similar situation, but because he has the heart to understand other people's emotions. This is something where Jodha is lacking big time in regards to Shenshah. Not once we have seen CVs show us Jodha recollecting about Jalal and repenting some of her actions. Alas, only Mohan and Mohini might bring some sense to Jodha's wild untamed brain.
Ruqu is eager to get the first rays of sun and it was pleasant to see that Hamida did not mind helping her. This was the first time we saw Hamida show some concern for any other begum. MA at the same time plots to get the most feeble begum Salima to receive the rays. But, allah talah ki marji ke aage kiski chali hai. Only if our dumb (Ruqu) and dumber (MA) would understand this. I again enjoyed seeing Ruqu lose color out of her face, what a scene! Hamida smiles as she knows Jodha is chosen by bhagya as Mynavati said the same to Jodha many times 'Bhagya apna yodha khud chunta hai'. It would be great to get a confirmation again from shaguni bai though as our Jodha has not been cooling down at all. Mynavati should go and ask Shaguni bai, meri beti kab sudharagi?
Jala in BT, I can never be tired of this sensuous scene. Ekta you should give us atleast ONE BT scene with Rajat in it. Poor chap though, one of his begums always comes barging in when he is trying to relax. This time it is Ruqu with a complain that Jalal wanted Jodha to go with him. I couldn't help but remember the scene when Ruqu was green with jealousy after watching Akdha's sword fight. She was in the same state again, only if her pride would allow deeper investigation of her feelings. Jalal very candidly admits that he would have preferred her to come. He is so comfortable with her, there are no battles to win with her. Hence whenever he gets into passionate fights with Jodha he runs to Ruqu to get peace of mind. Ruqu will soon find out that when he needs passion/aggression/love he will turn to Jodha. It's always good to sees Ruqu's care for Jalal, she wants Jodha to go because its for his well being. So rare to see good things in Ruqu, that even small bits are appreciated big time.
Jodha Jodha Jodha - kab sudhrogi, kab badlogi, kab samjhogi hamare Jalal ko??? Jalal has tried many times to have a civil conversation with his wife. He has taken many initiatives to correct the wrongs he has done. If only Jodha could understand and acknowledge that the picture her imagination created of Jalal is completely wrong. He is right when he says Jodha should refuse to come because he knows she would be the last person who would pray for his well being. Even for that Jodha retorts saying why cant Shenshah do it himself. Did we see a slight hint of green Jalal when yous said that every act of yours need ammi jaan's approval? May be this green color caused him to retort back about Jodha getting permission from ammi jaan on ending her life. Jodha went and talked to ammi jaan about her attempt to suicide and apologized. But, she shows no such signs to Jalal who saved her. I now feel it has to be something huge, strong to break the walls of ignorance surrounding Jodha's brain. I wonder if Mohan will be sufficient, we might need the mighty elephant Jumbo's leg on her head!
Precap: Jodha watch out on your never ending lectures to Jalal on what is right for Shenshah. There is only so much one can take, this righteous speech will get you in huge trouble some day as we know Mohan is coming!
