Wow all of u are making such a big deal --- right what Shlok did was not good

But as some one said it starts a convo about what happens in real life. --- if it was someone else than the male lead slapping would anyone pay any head --- nada

And I don't think some one watching the knowing it is just a tv show they start slapping their girlfriend etc ---if they do that they need to see a psych dr.

That is exactly the point here !! When you show the lead male who is a role model slapping the lead female you are endorsing that behavior! If you show a side character doing this it would have been ok. What message are you trying to send ? Yeah its OK, guys hit gals its OK , still keep loving them ? The point is they added it just for the shock value not make the story better or add value to it!. JUST TO GET THEIR RATINGS UP!
