Astha's dad talked to him n gave him her responsibility to make sure that she is safe & sound.
Poor he. doesn't knows how (un)safe she is in(under) shlok's hands 😛

@bold- so should we wait for more slaps to categorize him as a bad boy? 😛
anyway, i'm not saying he is a bad boy. he is not.
what he did was (very)bad.
that's it...

I would take the side of Sholk. he has brought Astha with him. he promised astha's father that he would take care of her. if suddenly she disappears, definitely he would be worried becasue Astha is his responsibility. if he would find astha in problem (like what happed with taxi driver), that would be different scenario. but, he saw that she is fine. that makes him high tempered. and Sholk is not a calm and quite guy. he is arrogant and rude. so, he could not control his anger and slapped Astha which justifies his character.

now question is if he did right or wrong. to slap a woman is definitely not praiseworthy. but, what astha did is also wrong. she could just drop the woman (sholk's sister) to her house. but sitting there and talking about her personal problem is nonsense as she knows that she came without telling Sholk. again and again its proving that astha gives more attention to others than the people near to her.

IMO, the slap cannot be equaled to that of a parent disciplining a kid... I mean, Shlok is not a parent, Aastha is not his kid and she doesn't need to be 'disciplined' by him. Shlok had no right to slap Aastha just because she is his responsibility for this journey. He could have questioned her or he could have just limited to expressing his anger in words...
