Farhan was to romance Minissha

Not many know that director Reema Kagti approached her mentor and director Farhan Akhtar for the role being essayed by Abhay Deol in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd. However, both Honeymoon Travels... and Don were going on floors simultaneously, so Farhan couldn't play the part.

Incidentally, Abhay Deol and Minissha Lamba got on very well during the shoot of Honeymoon Travels... There were rumours that he had a crush on her, something the two laughingly dismiss. Though Abhay admits, "Minissha is such a lightweight that made it easier for me to do the tango song ( Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani...) with her in the film."

The film is all set to release tomorrow.
