Finally back to with a post

I was really hoping that I would be back sooner. I was being bad and trying to post during work 😳 But alas, things came up and I wasn't able to post anything.

So, I must confess that I stopped watching Qubool Hai since 9/6 . I was trying to be positive but with all the negative news/spoilers my heart just couldn't take it. I have been reading the written updates and last Wednesday (18^th) I watched one episode (online) only because I knew Karan, Surbhi, and Vikrant were going to be giving an awesome performance. And I was right. I know may people on the forum think this track is completely half-baked and illogical. But even if it is...the acting by the cast is absolutely outstanding They give their all to the scenes and it shows. I remember shaking my fists at the computer screen going this is totally wrong, what's happening but darn it these guys are such brilliant actors! I hate this! Gul, you cruel woman...torture us like this with this track but you knew all too well that Karan, Surbhi, Vikrant, and the rest of your cast can effectively act this out

I chickened out again after watching that one episode on Wednesday and went back to reading written updates again. Only yesterday and today I started to peek back into the online videos. I decided to just stay away from the spoilers because it just ruins everything. Every little piece of information released somehow turns negative by someone in the forum. And I just cannot take it anymore. Perhaps I sound very foolish

There are quite a few extreme view points on the forum. People are bashing Asad, Zoya, and Ayaan left right and center Every time there is a dramatic track we see the characters get dumb down and do things that make you cringe or do a double take...all logic falls out the window during the set up and the climax. It is when the track comes to the end do we see some semblance of logic. Everyone knows this yet we still get post about character butchering, etc.

It's quite obvious the legitimacy of this so called marriage of Zoya and Ayaan has not been fully explained because something had to bring Zoya into the Siddiqui household and keep her there (at least for the time being). And with all the high tension between the families, Haseena's emotional blackmail on Nikhat, Nikhat's breaking point, Shireen's fear, societal pressure courtesy of the priests, Gaffur's need to save face, Ayaan's love for his sister, Asad's responsibility as the older sibling, and Zoya's confirmation of her mistake...led to the signing of the nikahnama.

Logically:

1. Ayaan should have clearly told everyone exactly what happened.

2. Zoya should have told Asad exactly what happened.

3. The Elders should have stood by the children's stories and told the Priest this was all a mistake.

4. Someone should have caught the incorrect name on the nikahnama

5. And even it came to the point where Zoya and Ayaan had to continue this farce for a time being...it should have been clear to all parties affected (Zoya, Asad, Ayaan, and Humeira) that this is temporary until Nikhat is married. The gang of four should have worked together to resolve this issue.

But asking for logic like this in a TV serial is just plain laughable

Now, that the initial shock of the twist has settled in a bit. The actions of the characters from my point of view have been very true to their characters in the situation they are in. I know there are posts calling Asad a trader as he traded Zoya like a so called "sack of potatoes" to the Siddiqui household to keep his half-sister engagement with the crazy house of Haseena Bi alive and how he is trying to commit an adulterous relationship with Zoya

I just don't get it. Everything seems to be black and white with them...but life is never black and white...there are many shades...the grey areas. And it has been clear from the couple of episodes this week Zoya considers herself Asad's. She knows this is all a big facade in front of the family. She wants to go home. She may be angry at Asad...rightly so since he took a decision about her life without really consulting her. But her heart is not changing. You can love someone and still be upset with them. That doesn't mean you love the person any less just because you don't want to talk to them right now.

Asad is determined to get Zoya back. He keeps calling her to try to explain himself. I see nothing wrong in that. I would be more worried if Asad wasn't doing anything. And as for his decision...it was wrong of the brothers to not speak to Zoya and discuss the situation very clearly and the plan. And I know Dilshaad remained Asad that he had no right to make Zoya sacrifice herself when they aren't technically "one" (married). But the thing is for Asad Zoya has already become a part of him. The whole Ajmer track showed that Zoya is his life...they are one and the same. When Zoya is away from Asad he cannot function. And this sacrifice that Asad made is only temporary. Asad has always been shown that he can do anything...sacrifice for those he loves (Dilshaad, Najma, Ayaan, and his other siblings) In that sense he and Zoya are very much alike. Unfortunately, Zoya has no connection with Nikhat...so for her what Asad and Ayaan did to her was completely unfair.

Perhaps, the better argument is when in a relationship you have to communicate and ask each other regarding important decisions. One person cannot assume and make unilateral decisions regarding something just because...even if the decision in the long run may be the best option and the other person would eventually agree too.

Ayaan is trying to hold up to his part of the deal by taking care of Zoya for Asad. He is formal with Zoya for a reason. He will not overstep his bounds. He loves Humeira...which by the way, I hope next week we will finally get a scene between him and Humeira. They seriously need to talk. I was hoping we would at least get one scene of them this week but nope just Ayaan crying like a baby staring at her photo while Humeira is all alone in her room sliently suffering again because of Ayaan

Okay I think I wrote a novel. I'm sure you guys have already discussed some of my view points. I didn't read everyone's post in the other thread 😳

I have no predictions because I'm just not very good at all of that stuff and it just hurts my head. Qubool Hai is just too unpredictable.

As long as AsYa are together in the end I will be happy

I haven't been watching either. Just some parts here and there i can't take so much sadness lol. But yes fantastic acting.

Oh the forum is terrible. EVERYTHING is considered negative.

Thank you! 👏 Agree completely with you! Being upset doesn't mean you stop loving the person. I don't get what people are saying. I am glad all of us are on the same page.

I agree completely. I always knew Ayaan would never ever fall for Zoya. They have developed his relationship with Humera for a reason. But I still don't like the spoiled brat in him.
