The ultimate question remains, "How far can you go before the line begins to blur?"
So far, clean politics but the dirt has begun to gather. Got more insight into the agendas of both the parties and how things are working on both sides. Which is a big YAAAY from my side! RV's side finally showed some of their counter-moves to KD's agendas rather than just opposing them. Thank God for that!
It is so easy to say that work is work, professional and personal lives shouldn't be mixed but it is so damn hard to actually work on that. Keeping that balance is not always easy. It gets tougher when you are young and emotions tend to get better of you. Specially, when you are up against the people who mean the world to you.
Kiya. She loves KD and she made it clear to him and to RV that her supporting the latter is only because his views click to her more. That doesn't change the fact that she loves KD any less.
Rukmini. She was always going to support Omi. Though the candidate changed, the agendas didn't. Since her support is more on the agenda than the candidate, she won't change her mind whatsoever.
Piddi. Always was, is and will be supportive to KD. While on some scale he does support KD's agendas, he stands by KD more for the fact that he's KD.
Panchi. Did say she will support RV and doing her best to do so. Saw her in action, taking charge and organizing things. She's in her comfort zone with RV.
KD. He stands by his agendas and though he is hurt that he is up against his friends, that doesn't change the fact that what he stands for is what he believes in. And also, he is standing by the fact that this will be fair play. Strictly against pointing fingers and getting personal. That's what he doesn't stand for.
RV. Despite the fact that he's now in the thick of things, on a more personal level he is still not at peace. He is very much bothered by the fact that he is against his best friend and his girlfriend is not by his side. But, what's to be done is to be done. Same lines on KD, no getting personal. It's just temporary so why do things which will sour relationships on permanent level.
That was just the initial phase. As topic states, lines begin to thin here. Not for all but the first signs are shown.
Rukmini. Here's to hoping the inconsistency of her character ends here! She was jealous, not hurt but pure jealous seeing RaHi. She was bothered, was uncomfortable seeing the best two best friends. Maybe she was unhappy with the fact that Panchi was where she should've been. Or maybe she wasn't pleased with the way RV got over this thing so easily, or so it seemed, that his GF was standing against him. Whatever the case it be, this elections, hopefully, might shed light more on her thought process. Is she really alright with RV putting Panchi above all or does she really get insecure and jealous seeing how she could never be what Panchi is to RV?
KD. Say what you may, when it comes to ego KD remains undefeated. He has a very fragile ego, his self-esteem can be hurt by the slightest of things. Proof was shown today! But first of all, really KD? Who contests in elections with their pocket money?? I mean, WHO?! đł *rolling eye facepalm* Khair, he was very much bothered with Kiya's comment of her using money on her boyfriend and lo! KD went into downright depression. Didn't even bother to think Kiya has never used one penny on him. And all his high and mighty words went down the spiral on insecurities when he saw the big posters of RV's campaign. *rolling eye facepalm part 2* Keeping the personal frustration aside, what I did like was that by the end KD clearly said that things have transcended friendship now. This time real issues are to dealt with and friendship can take a little break.
Precap shows differences and rifts increase. It takes two to tango. If one side is the only one trying his best to not let the professional side affect the personal and the other side has assumed all he wants and mixing personal into professional, things will not work out no matter what. That is what is happening here! It will be interesting to see how things will shape from now on.
This week has been super good! Fast paced with very less loopholes. Covering all characters, their involvement and shedding light to their personalities. Whatever the result of this politics may be, real lives have already been affected. What's left to see if the foundations of Buddy friendship are as strong as they think they are or not? Also, who is the one lacking here.
