Ankie, I think Shreya means that whatever Razia and Tanveer say does not matter at the end of the day. Zoya is what she thinks she is, her self respect has nothing to do with what they think. A divorced woman or a separated woman can not be judged by their marital status, just as being single is not a crime neither is being a divorcee or a separated woman.

Dear diary,

The cloud becomes more moody...the shadow has not lifted...the tears have not dried.😭

Zoya: She tried her best, to tell Asad what she wanted and what she felt was best for them...but he was a man who is used to sacrificing himself for the happiness of the people around him. Because he has grown up seeing the tears of one woman who had to suffer one man's betrayal, he has always been ready to deny himself. His happiness lies in the happiness of his loved ones- his mother, his sisters, his brother...because he knows they need him.

And now, like always he denies himself- the part of him he cannot do away with- Zoya.

Apni jaan se bhi azeez...but HIS...the only person he can selfishly call HIS...the only person he will not share with any one else in the world- his pride, his joy, his other half...and he sees her not as an individual, but an extension of himself...a lifeline which when tugged away from him evokes a desperation so great that he can even raise his hands at the boy he lovingly raised and protected...

And because he has been called up on to sacrifice himself, he does it to himself...sacrifices that which is a part of him...her pleas did not get to him...because he has ceased to see her as a separate person...and he implores her to have faith in him...in their love...

Zoya sees the futility of trying to argue with him. She tried her best- begged him not to separate her from him. But his decision is final- if his sibling requires him to sacrifice his joy, his love, his Zoya- so be it. And she succumbs, with a tinge of rebellion. But she cannot deny him either...he has called up on her for his sister, and she denies herself for him...

She looks back after she has signed the document- to see herself stranded without him...he could not bear to see her as the wife of another man...legally wrestled away from him...

The house is silent...and Zoya is left to herself. She has only her thoughts and broken dreams to keep her company. She feels condemned!

Rashid and later his mother try to make her feel at home...and she is ushered into her new room...the mention of which evokes a beautiful memory of happy times...of a promise ..NOT TO BE LET GO OF, EVER...😳

Asad: He drags himself back home. He is nothing but a living dead body now...😭

He answers his mother's queries vaguely...Zoya wahan gayi, jahaan usske muqaddar usske le gayi...Indeed, Fate has taken her HOME.😳

Dilshad points out to him a fact he had overlooked for a long time...Zoya was not his...She had a separate life, her own feelings, HER DREAMS...and he had only considered her a part of him. Was she his, for him to be making decisions in the first place?

As his Ammi moves away to bring Zoya back, the reality and enormity and horror of it all strikes him...He had foregone all rights to her...She had not been his before, and more certainly not now...he had condemned what was not his...

GALATI HO GAYI MUJHSE AMMI...👏

Precap: Zoya explains what she means by a nikah to Ayan, and by no means does it even remotely resemble the tokla rasm they just had...👏

Raziya realises she married an idiot!😆

P.S:

Hmm😳... Usually, I hate rona dhona in serials...because it looks so fake🥱. But Gul has a way of keeping me glued to her show in spite of the tragedy- before with IPKKND, and now with QH...😳

And her portrayal is so heart wrenching😭 that it kind of really makes me go numb😳..👏.Thats why I cannot write in the night😃... and my days have been unusually busy. So until the tears end, I guess my posts will be late😆...I am too much of a hopeless romantic.😉
