I also abhore violence, and the fact that Kumud is accepting it without doing anything about it says she is accepting it. She is the worst example of an educated woman that is being depicted in this serial. I am totally against her staying on to change a husband who has no respect for her. It is not as if her parents will not come back to her home, in fact that was one of the conditions they agreed to her going back.

I may not be from Harvard, but a professional with a PhD so very far from the notion you have of the type of person I could be.
