The first two did NOT know of her motives and had reasons for their partiality . While Ira was a biased mother , Sumitra was ashamed of the social stigma of her son's 2 failed marraiges . Being an uneducated village woman , his MS meant nothing to her ...according to her it did NOT elevate her social standard . His succesful marital status did . The sociey would say that with 2 failed marraiges the fault lay with her son . She wanted to get out of that stigma pronto and hence welcomed the rishta with a well settled family .

Anandi sat on all Saanchi's dirty secrets ...right from burning the kheer , to dooing tamashas at her maika [ by throwing water etc] to pundit's bribery , to overheard motives . Simply unforgivable . She will sadly pay for shielding someone wrong ...the snake she protected will turn against her and bite her .

Saanchi may create problems between Shiv and Anandi . It will be , u created problems between me and Jagya , u spilled my secret to the family now i will create problems between u and Shiv bhaiyya .

Insane people r never reasonable .

Kools ..you are 1000% correct..supporting wrong doing people is not the characteristic trait of Anandi...righteousness is her strength and her motto...now she is supporting an insane person and as you rightly said she will create trouble for her .

Hiding truth is not good for anybody...and it is not a nice bahus' duty to hide that spoiled brats' wrong doings ! It will show the catapult affect on her life--! Being an IAS officer... Shivs' IQ must be high ...and he should be able to realise that where it went wrong...and why things are reached to a stage ...beyond repair and he has to take the situation in to his hands and try to control further damage !!!

Till now I was startled , conphooosed and angry at Sumitra's "Sanchi mahaan" andolan and her anger/fear of Ganga. Sumitra has always been a nice person, a good one.It seemed sad that a nice motherly woman could be so blinded by fear and hurt that she stopped thinking rationally and started blaming all the wrong people

Yesterday I was DISGUSTED with her. No matter how terrified the threat of Ratan Singh made her, no matter how badly she wanted Jagya to settle down with Sanchi, she had no right or cause to make all those insinuations at Ganga. Every sentence of hers aimed at cheapening Ganga ultimately showed her thinking to be cheap So,so horrible

I have always maintained that if she doesn't want to like Ganga or if she is angry with Ganga for inadvertantly placing her family in danger-Fine. That's her personal choice. But she does NOT have the right to question Ganga's character or any other woman's for that matter without factual evidence. What happened to the Sumitra who urged Ganga (when she was in nice mode) to give Ratan Singh and his useless family a second chance? Then they were obviously guilty
Now the very same Sumitra is calling a girl who has always shown integrity and honesty in her dealings characterless?
Even if it is Sanchi's influence why the DEVIL should a mature experienced woman listen to a dimwitted spoilt brat of 23?😡

Exactly my thoughts ranitha ...i can totally understand if she does not accept Ganga her whole life coz she saw her son's head bashed in but she is making her out to be low in character to put her out of son's heart ...cheap girl who easily gets men and robs money ...i too don't appreciate it .

If sumitra goes back and remembers, anandi and Jagya in their childhood stole money. Anandi to escape dadisa and Jagya for some nefarious purposes..

If we honestly compare anandi, Jagya, ganga, Ganga comes out shining in every respect.
anandi always dithered and supported wrong sometimes. Jagya in the past did the same. But ganga inspite of her poverty, lack of proper education, lack of good family support, did the right thing always.
