As usual brilliant review👍🏼. I shall avoid heavy dosage of discussion today, but am here to just confess that after yesterday's episode- my respect for Arjun has doubled.
Though this thought did not cross my mind yesterday, this morning when I was commenting on another post something struck me. Though we can get put Arjun into the accused stand yet again and look for justifications for his action-does anyone realize how selfless his action had been? Quoting from my post:
What was Shree to him? A team member with whom he has hardly had a full length conversation apart from professional discussions. And can we imagine what he risked for him. He was ready to face professional humiliation or even worse suspension. And then it would be near impossible to get Sikander. He risked the sole reason of his existence for a team member and some victims who were strangers for him.

Till now Arjun was shown as a man driven by personal vendetta, but now he was shown as someone who could rise above it. I loved Arjun's pause when Shree asked him to remember his boundaries. He said he will try and then paused to evaluate before coming with the determined-Its not possible. It was a grave moment and a genuine choice was made. Choices make who we are,and today Arjun managed to be a HERO in a greater sense.

Very succinctly put & a new line of thought to ponder👏 Truly the man never ceases to amaze me😲 He had been warned in the Pathan case & I'm sure there is huge lobbying already inside the department for him to fall & fade in oblivion.Yet he took this drastic step. A step as you so correctly pointed out might have removed him light years away from his mission in life.

Saying he was driven by rage when one of his own was assaulted is rather an oversimplification. It does not match the core character of Arjun that has been presented to us so far.Remember what he said to Shree after Riya's death when he was distracted, that we cannot let emotions cloud our judgement when seeking justice.

The maniac was cut of a different cloth. He wasn't even human. He was the kind who dont have an iota if concern for themselves or for others. They simply seek the thrill of killing & go about doing it in a way that causes maximum pain & torture at whatever opportunity they get. All his murders were preplanned yet he never took so much as a small knife inside the house.Imagine having your throat slit with a fork or head smashed in with a frying pan.A more slow & painful way to die does not exist. He was also extremely resourceful when he grabbed that kid to escape. All those who would have been in charge of his care during trial would have been under extreme risk if this man had been allowed to live one more second.

It wasn't as if Arjun took one look at Shree, got angry & left in a huff with murder on his mind.I am sure he had sized up his enemy correctly & come to his decision that this threat needed to be immediately eliminated.

Last night's episode had an immensely satisfying end👍🏼

The only very feeble defense I can come up with is derived from Shaleen's excellent performance during the scene. His expressions were that of a worried but calm officer. He lost his presence of mind maybe but did not lose composure. He chose not to be distracted and keenly heard each of Shree's words, gave instructions in a manner which showed that he was perhaps confident that Shree would handle it well. It was only when he heard Shree being attacked that he reacted. I know its a poor defense as someone with such sharp instincts should have been quicker.😛On a rather sad note I sense something similar would have happened on that fateful night when he lost Roshini. His usually reliable attributes would have betrayed him at the crucial hour.😭

yep he could have asked the address from reception during convo and left earlier...shree would have been less harmed and about his confidence on shree...that psychopath is too dangerous, killed many, is wanted...arjun should have sent some back for him...thats inexcusable for me🥱 yes he should have been quicker...but never the less shree is ok.

about roshni...for me sik is like a walking terror, very cunning smart and ruthless, dnt hesitate to kill...i guess that night he was with his men, which seems most logical. so if arjun had gone in his house without back up, (which is also common if sik threatened him to come holding hostess roshni) that horrible thing would have happened...we dont know about this incident, but i guess smthing like this would have happen

lets see what CVs had store for us about roshni murder track...already they ruined sik for me, and some BW villain?🤢 eww...so i have feeble hope about it

@shona same yr...chal rote hai😭

@carrie- Thanks for mentioning the Shree-Arjun scene post Riya's death. I clearly remember the most significant aspect of that scene was Arjun repeating the oath which is the only principle he follows-Destroying evil and saving the good. And I think no one should question the manner in which he delivers this. The killer yesterday was beyond repair and too dangerous to be even sheltered in confinement. Even if Shree was kept out of the equation I feel Arjun would have given him the same end.
And I also perceive that the triumph of good over evil was symbolised in those religious visuals at the end. And Arjun's presence there was so significant like u mentioned in ur analysis. He could have been easily shown to remain at office while the other ETF members performed the ritual. But he stood there looking like a man estranged from the concept of worshiping a higher power,at war with God..yet not able to escape the fact that being the agent of goodness in the world he has ended up being His representative. It was a very poignant scene as there was a lack of indifference in Arjun's eyes. It seemed like there was a duel happening within-he was sharing his grievance with the very Power he held to be responsible for it.

Bang on analysis Zuby...!!!⭐️
Watched episode after a long time...!! it was nice but with so many bloopers...!!!
But but loved Shree today... hats off to him for doing such stunts when he is injured...!!
i was literally biting my nails and scared of him when that guy was hurting him...!!! shree ne bhi mast fight back kiya...!!!
and Arjun... why he waited till Shree was attacked,.. phle hi chale jaata... aur bina address likhe hi knew where shree was...😆
Killer ke bare mai kya kahu... he was really disgusting... the way he killed people using forks and kitchen utensils🤢 and his behaviour with that girl's photo and clothes was really disgusting...
The actor played it so well... he made us hate him...!!!! that's his achievement ki he with his such psychopath acting made us hate his character...!! loved his acting...!!!
and i guess Arjun did the right thing by killing him... that guy took kid as a hostage to save himself ... killed people so brutally and raped that girl and almost killed shree...he himself called for that shot...!!!
SM as usual rocked...!!! and his style.. the way he stopped the bus and shot him was awesome..!!
and ofcourse Arjun's concern for Shree... he do care for his team just doesn't show it...!! loved his compassionate side ... shree also knew ki arjun will not leave that guy.. and his request to Arjun to not do anything... its hows how much they care for each other...!!
Aisha and liza rocked with whatever they got...!!! loved Aisha when she was kind of leading the team in that doc's house...!!!
but missed rathore and his dammit... i was imagining his reactions on seeing Shree hurt...
over all the episode was good and very fast paced...!!!!
and finally Chottu is there in the precap...!!!

BTW ... for SSR ... don't underestimate his talent ...
I clearly remember his performance in the "Horror Act" they he gave with his partner Shampa in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa ... it began with 2 of them romancing, then he throws her off from a height and she comes back as a ghost 😊
He gave such an impressive evil expression and smile when he throws her off... lovely 😉
