After playing suave characters on the tube, telly hottie Karan Tacker is now on a well-deserved break

As the PYTs shared shy laughs and hushed talks, Karan Tacker walked into a city hotel dressed in a pair of jeans and a tee. On what is his second visit to the city, the model-turned-actor talked about his "comfortable sense of style", why he is "on a break" and of course, female adulation!
"Am looking for dynamic faces," he begins, when asked about his role as a judge for a competition looking for fresh faces. Starting his career as a model, is the 27-year-old up for a comparison with these newcomers? "Today's youth is so out there. They are well-aware, technologically sound, unlike the time I started off. I look at them fascinated, like a kid!" he said.
Of the numerous awards he has in his kitty, he's bagged one for being a style icon. So, what's his style? "I am a basic guy and 90 per cent of times you'll see me in shorts. I also have a fetish for shoes and I admit it, I love shopping! For me, my style is all about comfort," he said.
As he dressed up and walked out to pose for us, female fans recognised him as V---- (his character from his recently wrapped up show -----) and asked for a picture. Female adulation, how does he handle it? "I am shy, introvertish and spellbound around women I don't know!" he said with a twinkle in his eyes.
