"Jab tumne mujhe mota keh liya tho wohi sahi, but I am gonna sleep on couch as you are not well and don't argue ok?" told maan. He liked her and that is sure. Geet frowned at his sarcastic tone but smiled a little at the mischievous glint on his eyes. If he is stubborn then she is also, after all she is geet handa, oops mistake now she is geet maan singh khurana. She realized he is a complete stranger to her and she is arguing with him. Actually he is not a stranger too, he is her husband who promised during the marriage rituals that no matter what he will be there with her all the good and bad times and in that 7 vows she too promised the same. "Sorry Mr. MSK, I don't have a habit of listening to others. So better luck next time. As of now I am sleeping on couch" geet argued back. "She is more stubborn than me, careful dude" thought maan and faked a sweet smile to her. "Ok geet, as you wish. But more than this I need to talk to you something important, we will clear everything today itself geet. So that there wont be any problem in future" told maan, his tone is serious and geet came to her normal self and nodded for yes. Maan smiled a little and asked her to settle down on the bed and he too seated opposite to her.

"Geet, let me start without any riddles. I know this marriage was sudden and we are not prepared for anything. And on top of that we didn't even get time to talk before marriage, when I saw you in the car you are all sad and gloomy" "n..." geet tried to say something but maan stopped her from saying anything further. "No geet I am blaming you for anything, I am just saying which I saw. Geet, I don't say we should accept this relation and start it from today itself. Elders say marriages are made in heaven, may be its fate that we both are together today. Geet, from my side you don't have any problem. You can do whatever you want, you are most welcome to continue your job like before. Geet, I just want to say one thing lets give a chance to this relation. If you are comfortable with me then no problem, if you are not then you can take any decision you want. And lastly it's a hectic day so good night" maan completed with a charming smile on his face. Geet looked at him in awe, is he for real. And what she heard is true, she pinched herself to confirm and yes it is true. His each and every word is ringing in her ears, till now she didn't like anything in her marriage as she was not interested but now she respects her husband. And geet thanked her babaji for giving such a lovely and understanding husband, within a span of few minutes he cleared all her doubts. She smiled and called him "Suniye" maan turned back hearing her sweet voice.

"You told everything but you forgot one thing" told geet. Maan looked at her confused. Geet extended her hand and asked "Friends?" maan smiled at her and shook his hands. "Ok we are friends but only on one condition" told maan smiling at her. "Call me maan" geet nodded for yes. "Good night" geet wished him and in all this geet forgot that she has to sleep on the couch. She settled on one side of the bed and she saw him settling on the couch she called him. "Maan" maan again turned to her. "You also sleep on the bed, I have no problem" told geet. Maan was reluctant and hesitated. "Its ok geet, no problem" "Even I am also saying the same, no problem sleep on the bed" geet told. The way maan talked to her was something which geet never expected. Geet was always little rigid types but she herself forwarded hand for friendship that means she understood that he is genuine. After all she ACP GEET KHURANA, who can easily reads whether he is good or bad. And she is also a lie detector, knowing about people's mentality is easy for geet. They both slept on the same bed, geet trusted maan. In any relation TRUST is the important thing and the very first day their relation started with the important thing called TRUST. So may be their relation is ready to blossom and may their relation will be inspiration to everyone.

Next day morning, geet is the first to get up. She looked at maan who is still sleeping. Her first morning in her new house, she felt little awkward and at the same time excited. She went to washroom, had shower and came out wearing a red netted saree. She got ready within few minutes, when she is looking at herself in the mirror; maan woke up and wished her. "Good morning geet" "Good morning maan" geet too wished back with a dazzling smile on her face which was missing yesterday. Maan felt good seeing her smile. The day went well with geet's cooking and muh dikai rasam. Zoya and geet gelled up really well. It was evening maan, geet, asad, zoya and dev were in the garden talking all random things. "Bhaijaan, did you read today's news paper?" asked zoya. Maan nodded in a no. "Ohhh bhaijaan, there is some interesting news. Every time you will be the hot topic but this time you are not because you are just tagged in that news and nothing more in Mumbai news paper" told zoya. Geet can understand what zoya is saying. "What??" asked maan confused. "See here, GEET HANDA, WHO IS THE THREAT TO EVERY CRIMINAL TIED A KNOT WITH THE WORLS'S FAMOUS DOCTOR MAAN SINGH KHURANA. This is the headlines bhaijaan and everything is about geet bhabhi and her journey as ACP till that date" told zoya. Somewhere maan is proud of his wife and her success. With the headlines itself maan can imagine ACP GEET is too dangerous. They talked for some more time, had dinner and left for their respective rooms. Asad and zoya bid good bye to everyone and left to their house.

Geet lied down on the bed after changing into her night suit, she is thinking about today's events. How happy everyone were and they treated her just like their own daughter. Geet felt so happy and she became comfortable with everyone in the house. Geet's mobile rang at the same time which made her come out of her trance. She looked at maan, worried what he might be thinking that she got a call at this hour. But she thought she did a worst thing by looking at him and his comment made her to glare at him in anger. "Geet, I think your ears are working properly. Or else let me treat you" commented maan sarcastically. He just smirked seeing her angry glare. He is doing this to make her comfortable; they both are tied in a sacred relation. They can't do anything other than to give it a try. And that starts from friendship. So maan is behaving like a friend.

"Hello" answered geet harshly. "Congratulations, your transfer application got approved and as you want you are transferred to delhi office" told geet's colleague. "When should I report?" asked geet. "Day after tomorrow" "Are you out of your mind" shouted geet which startled maan and the person on phone. Literally they closed their ears with the intensity of her voice. "By the way..." before he ask anything geet cut the call and threw it on the bed. Literally she is burning with anger and tears formed in her eyes which are ready to come out. She knows this gonna happen, that's why she just want to run away from this world. Maan is seeing her every expression, her anger, her helplessness and finally pain in her eyes. He want to console her, after all they are friend and can know what her problem is?

When geet sat on the bed and lost in her own world, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see maan with worried lines on his forehead. He raised his hand and wiped off those tears which were threatening to come out. "Don't geet, don't let these precious pearls to come out when it is not needed. I don't know what your problem is but no problem will be big when you think with peaceful mind" told maan. Geet looked into his eyes and the intensity of his eyes says that he is really concerned for her and she want to drown in those eyes as no one took care of her to this extent after her parents. In her uncle's house she doesn't tell she suffered at the same time she doesn't tell she is happy there. She was just living there for some shelter, and her uncle's family is orthodox. He use to restrict her from doing many things saying girls should not do this and that. She wants to shout on him many a times but couldn't as she was dependent on them. But when it comes to her dreams she don't spare anyone and she did the same. Geet want to study IPS and become an IPS officer, but her chachiji was so strict, he didn't allow her to study saying girls don't study IPS. Till that day she had enough of his tantrums but not anymore. Geet decided to leave the house, she don't want to sacrifice her dreams for anyone and she is stubborn with her decision. It angered chachaji a lot, but geet was his responsibility he promised his brother that he will take care of geet. Because of that promise he couldn't do anything much and allowed geet to study whatever she want.

Geet fulfilled her dream, she is a COP now, ACP GEET HANDA, MUMBAI. She is damn strict and her co-officers would be scared to talk to her. But when it come out of office, she is so jovial and always teasing others. ACP Geet handa and geet has no qualities. But soon the marriage thing came like a blow to her, this time she cant deny her chachaji too. Since it was an year she joined, she applied for a transfer. Except her officer she didn't tell anyone about her marriage as she was not interested. Finally she had to tell the reason for her transfer because of their continuous pestering. They were shocked beyond limits and commented "We pity your life partner" like other girls she didn't dreamt of her marriage or her life partner. It all happened uninterestingly. And she was here getting married to Maan singh khurana. Geet is feeling chocked, she is missing her parents, she want them right now. But they can't. And how on earth she id going to join her office from day after tomorrow. What will her in-laws think of her, mainly what will maan think? So many questions but no answer.

"Are you fine?" asked maan which made geet to come out of her thoughts. "Umm... yes... I mean... Woo" she is fumbling. "Geet, I am not a devil that you are being so scared off" teased maan so that she comes back to normalcy. First of all she is tensed and his damn comments are making her anger rise. She just wants to hit him with something. Seeing her annoyed face, maan let out a small giggle and asked again "Is there any problem?" geet nodded for a yes this time.
