CH 26 - Old Memories come back Pt.II
" STOP IT MADHUBALA! "
I heard Aisha speak from behind. My hands dropped down seeing her in Anuj's house.
She quickly walked towards us and grabbed Anuj's hand and pulled him and made him stand behind her. She looked at me with a angry face and frowned. I was in no mood to become scared and I frowned back a dirty, fire angry frown and her frown disappeared seeing the angriness in me.
- Slap! -
I gave her a tight slap on her face. Anuj's eyes became vide as he looked at Aisha. Aisha touched her cheek and looked at me. My expression was still the same.
" MADHU?! "
Anuj shouted. The minute I heard his voice my face turned blank. I don't know why.
He came in front of me. Now, he had become angry, very angry.
" HOW DARE YOU SLAP AISHA?! "
I again gave a angry frown and replied calmly -
" I slapped her seeing her GUTS, because she ACTUALLY SLEPT WITH A MAN WHO IS ALREADY IN A RELATIONSHIP FROM PAST 3 YEARS! "
Aisha looked at me realising what I said. Anuj gulped and looked away.
" Anuj.. "
He looked at me.
" Its OVER. "
His eyes widened for a second but then again he looked away.
I turned back and started walking towards the door but suddenly I stopped. I again turned and looked at him.
" You won't ask the reason why I broke up with you? "
Anuj looked at me and after a second he replied in a low voice
" Because I slept with Aisha.. "
A small smirk came on my face and my eyes became watery. He looked at me. I walked towards him with slow steps and said
" No Anuj, no. "
He continued looking straight into my eyes as I continued -
" I didn't broke up with you because you slept with Aisha, I broke up with you because at that moment, when you both started your night, Anuj I can't describe how much I love you, but you didn't think about me once and continued. "
His eyes also started becoming watery but he didn't break the eye contact. I started snobing and tears started flowing down from my eyes.
" This proves that you don't love me anymore.. "
His eyes turned down as he no longer had courage to look into my eyes.
" You ALWAYS TOOK ME FOR GRANTED! "
His face shot up at me. I held my mouth with my both hands tight and ran away from there.

For the next one month, I was depressed and not well. I used to cry every day, as it had became my daily routine. Radhika would visit me everyday and take care of me. Slowly, I forgot about it.
Anuj and I didn't talk to each other for 1 year..
But Radhika had kept the new year party at her place, at that party, we met. I came to know that Aisha and Anuj had broke up 6 months. Radhika got busy with her friends so I was standing alone, doing nothing. Anuj came to me and kept a hand on my shoulder, I looked back and the minute I saw his face, I felt a cold shiver run down my spine. He gave me a small smile.
" Hi.. "
After one year I heard his voice. I didn't knew to reply back or not. But without thinking, I replied back -
" Hi.. "
Again a small smile came on his face and he looked down, while I was still looking at him. He again looked at me and said -
" How are you? "
When he said it, I remembered my condition of that 1 month. I looked down. Anuj was still looking at me, still waiting for my answer. I looked straight into his eyes giving him a 'I-don't-know' look. He again looked down.
" See Madhu.. "
I looked at him.
" I don't want you to ignore me. I really feel... bad and angry at myself.. "
I tried to get his point and he looked back at me.
" Madhu..lets be friends again.. "
My expression turned into a surprised expression. He raised his hand and kept it in front of me. I looked at his hand. After a second, I looked straight into his eyes as he was staring in mine. My hand automatically raised up and I kept my hand on his lightly, and he tightened his grip. We both smiled at the same second.
After that day, we both became friends again. But not MORE then that..

- Knock-Knock -
Madhu bounced out of her bed. The door opened and Radhika came in. Madhu looked around the room and realised she was in her own house, own room and was actually lost in her old memories.
' Forget about it Madhu.. '
Radhika came in and sat beside her.
" What happened Madhu? "
Madhu looked at her and a small smile came on her face.
" Nothing.. "
Radhika smiled.
" Old Memories come back.. "
Radhika looked at her and understood what she meant.
