I keep getting the feeling that one of the reason that the shekhars are protesting so much nd trying so hard to convince Jagya to change his mind is that they know their daughter. They know that S is crazy. She will not care about her future happiness or the logical reasoning. All she will do is go nuts.
I really think its about saving S from that kind of heartbreak more that the actual fear of Izzat.

That may be true. They are scared what might happen to their daughter if this relationship breaks.
They are scared that she might do something foolish and hurt herself.

Its interesting how everyone has a diff fear:
Ira fears her daughter will do something crazy
Alok fears the reputational loss
Anandi fears the bond breaking between the two families
Sumi fears that J will marry Ganga
Its interesting that the only person not afraid right now is Jagya. He is at peace with his decision...

Personally, I think it is high time that Ira and Meenu gave saanchi a lecture on the concept of 'self-respect'.
It was okay for shiv and ira to ask J whether or not he was happy with the rishta, but I feel that one key conversation that should have happened is that saanchi herself should have asked J if he is happy with the rishta.
And in this case, there was not much more need to ask, because it should have been obvious to her that his talks with her were just couched in extreme formality and he didn't even show the slightest inclination to even be friendly with her. He never initiated any conversation with her, and whenever she did call him then he cut it off with one line sentences.
If after all this, and then his breaking off the rishta, saanchi still says she wants to go ahead then she deserves whatever she is going to get.

But when does Sanchi give a moment to Jagya to speak. She calls and says Hello and then she starts off ranting - are you wearing my coat, are you carruing my key chain, do you miss me, why didn't you call me, you must visit me., I'm cooking for you - when r u coming here ???
the poor guy gets no time to say his patients are lying dead in the hallway coz she gives him no time to attend to them 🤣

Saanchi can't listen coz she is too busy speaking !!!

She will throw a super royal tantrum to hopefully equal and surpass Gauri's hey days. And the Shekhars will be hard-pressed to explain the sonic boom to their neighbours whose window glass will shatter bcoz of it 😆

.sanchi told to her parents shiv long ago that if i my marriage is not happen with jagdeesh i will remain virgin for whole life .so there must be fear in shekhar family heart that when sanchi will come to know that jagya refuse to proposal then sanchi will not marry any boy .since sanchi told that she will not marry any boy except jagdeesh that is why shekhars r crying getting angry and pleading to jagya even after his refusal

There is a remote cousin in my family - not a replica of Sanchi - but one whose parents are used to giving her whatever she wishes for.
And she is to date unmarried and a royal pain - coz when she wants something - she says - I want, and now - her parents are well beyond their capacity to provide the kind of life she wants. Wo wala ghar, wo wala husband, wo waali look - - the list has grown with ehr age and now she is a rotten spoilt brat and her parents are sick of her.

This show is a lesson to all parents who over-indulge their brats !

well said hooked. 'No' is my parent's favorite word, because she believes that a child who never hears No doesn't learn to say 'No' and falls into wrong company and wrong actions; and the cycle never ends. Can you imagine what sanchi would be like with her children?? She would be one of those horrible mothers who would lie/cheat/hurt others to put her kids ahead...god saved jagya!
