If you read humayunnama, ruqaiah's father hindal mirza saved him from that fort. He was a neutral party in this war in sense he was not involved in war between humayun and his other 2 brothers and had gone away to live alone from royalty. But when he came to know his brothers are using his 2-3 years nephew Akbar tied to fort he went to humayun and said i will go there just hold war for few days. His 2 other brothers thought hindal was on their side and left him inside fort. Hindal at night killed soldiers went into fort saved akbar-maham anga-adham khan and tied them below of horse so soldiers will not discover and then left. But on way his brothers realized what happened and send army to catch hindal but he fought very bravely against many soldiers till maham anga and kids reached humayun's army which had besieged the fort outside. Hindal lost his life but helped humayun win the war. He apparently was very good strategist unlike bairam khan and humayun who relied more on emotional decision.

That's why he trust MA so blindly..

Babar became king when was 11 betrayed by his own unle who attacked on his states ...but his loyal companions his teahers n generals of baur father umersaeed mirza never leave him alone ...always stand beside him and the time came when they succeed to win back babur land for him...babur life spend on horse back until he became king of kabul..kandhaar... n even after that there was no rest

Humayun was not strong as his father ...Ruqayya's father Hindal mirza was his favorite but being a first born and maham begum... humayun mother was his chief queen ...and more of that hindal own mother dildar begum always supported humayyun ...so he became king after babur death...but lost agra dehli punjab to sher sha... kabul kandhar he alreay givn to his brother sultan kamran mirza nad sultan askari mirza...

so he became king wtih no land... this is the time when Akbar born in in umerkot... humayun brothers thought now he will wantback the areas given to the by humayun so theu attack on humayun camp in the way of kabul... akbar was infant at that time ... some how jalal separate from his parent left with MA,,,shamsudin n jiji anga...arrested by askari mirza...

BK was shia ..he took humayun n HB to iran ...n humayun came after so many years by the help of sheh e iran ...he attacked on kabul and won all areas of his father earlier reign back...

All this period Akbar live as the hostage in the kandhar in possesion of askari mirza...where MA raise him give him all support...and his aunt wife of askatri mirza loved n support him against her own husband...


the war between kamran mirza n humayun mirza... hindal mirza was witth humayun ... humayun was not great warrior... it was BK n hindal mirza who fought for him... when kamran mirza was about to loose war he ordered to tie jalal infront of canon to blavk mail humayun n his army... MA was obviously there but she was also prisnor... it was BK or hindal mirza who safve jalal from that horrible state... even hindal mirza lost his life in that war left his only daughter ruqayya ... his will was to give his all property n states to jalal

I loved when Jodha looked sad hearing that...😳 so gradually she is getting there...she will know about his disturbed childhood soon I am hoping...and will help him to cope up with that...how can Jalal question MA when MA did so much for him ? its tough...very tough...Maham Anga is way too clever...she has started conspiring long back...since Jalal was a kid...she is a very shrewd lady😡

I'm glad they show all of this in the show because it gives us a whole new dimension to his character... It helps us understand why he is so bitter😭
