Khushi was stacking books on the shelf.She was a librarian.She loved books.As Khushi put the last book away,she headed towards the check in/out counter.There was a pile of books to be checked in.Khushi took her seat behind the counter and began scanning the books in.
"Excuse me" said a gentle masculine voice.
Khushi looked up to see a man with warm brown eyes.'He was handsome'thought Khushi.The man raised his eyebrows.Khushi shook her thoughts out of her mind and asked
"Yes,how may I help you?"
"By just saying yes"
"Excuse me"
"Will you go out for a coffee with me?"
"But I barely know you"
"My name is Arnav and I am 22 years old and you look like you are 21 years old..Khushi"
"How do you know my name"
Arnav gestured to her name tag.
"Oh"
"I'll take that as a yes" said Arnav
Khushi smiled.Months passed with Arnav and Khushi frequently meeting each other.One day Khushi confessed she loved him and he told her he loved her too.But a few weeks later,Arnav began drifting away from her.He would occasionally lie to her but she would sometimes find out.One day Khushi was walking home when she saw Arnav with a couple of guys around the same age.'But he told me he wasn't feeling well'thought Khushi.Khushi walked up to him and tapped his shoulder.Arnav turned around and turned pale.
"Arnav?What are you doing here?"
"Who's Arnav?"asked a guy next to Arnav.Khushi pointed at Arnav.The guy continued "He's not Arnav,his name is...
Arnav glared at him making him quiet and Khushi confused.Arnav took hold of Khushi's arm and took her far from the group.
"Khushi,what are you doing here?"
"Arnav,this is the way I go home and what are you doing here?And why was that guy saying your real name wasn't Arnav?"
Arnav took a sigh and said
"My real name isn't Arnav"
"What?That means you lied to me"
"Yes.In fact you were just a past time for me"
"What?But I loved you"
"But I never did"
Tears brimmed at Khushi's eyes at knowing his real identity.
"I can't believe I fell in love with you.I should have never fallen in love with you!I hate you!I can't believe you took my love as a past time!I hate you!"
She turned and ran home to let tears out.
Payal was Khushi's best friend.She knew Khushi's love story from the beginning til the end.She took care of Khushi.
Present (After 2 Years)

"Come on Khushi.It's going to be so much fun" said Payal in a blue dress til her knees.
"I don't know Payal.I don't have a good feeling about this" said Khushi in a bright red sari.
"Of course you don't.I mean you are wearing a sari plus you feel like this in every party we go to.Now come on lets get a drink."said Payal dragging her to the bar."Two orange juices"Payal ordered.The juices arrived and they began to drink it."Oh Khushi you know the last few parties we have been to.Good thing we left early"
"Why is that?"
"You know if we stayed even a bit longer at those party then god knows what would've happend.When we had left,Panther had came with his gang?"
"Panther?"
"Panther.The world's biggest criminal.He has never been caught.So Panther and his gang came and everybody at the party was held at gun point.Seems like they were looking for someone"
"Was everyone safe.What if he comes here?We shouldn't have come at all"
"Everybody was safe and come on just because he was found on the last few parties we've been to,doesn't mean he'll be everywhere.Anyways,I am going to go to on the dance floor,you wanna come?"
"I'll stay here"
"Okay"
Payal went to the dance floor and eventually disappeared into the crowd.Khushi finished her orange juice and kept it aside.She got lost into Panther's thoughts.Such a big criminal.Never been caught.He and his gang had appeared at the latest parties,she and Payal had been too.Good thing she and Payal left before they came.Khushi sighed looking around.Suddenly there was a sound of a gun shot.
"Everybody stay where you are and don't dare move a muscle" yelled an oddly familiar voice.Khushi froze.Was it Panther.The criminal Payal had been talking about.The men with the guns began moving around looking closely at the people's faces and comparing it with a photograph they had.
"Looks like I have finally found you"
Khushi turned around immediately to see Arnav..no...whatever his real name was.
"What are you doing here?"
"It's a party.What do people do here?"
Khushi rolled her eyes and saw the men were still looking around.Khushi slowly began to walk away from him making sure the men didn't notice her.
"Where do you think you are going?"he said grabbing her wrist.
"Let me go"commanded Khushi
"Or else?"
"Or else,I'll yell and those men will see"
"Here I'll help you"he said"Boys,I found her"
The men looked at him and Khushi.They walked up to them.Khushi's heart began racing.She was scared.
"Great then lets go Panther"said one of the men.
"Panther?"
Arnav..whatever his name was smirked."I am Panther"
And everything went black.
