It's now a long time i have joined this forum. But i never introduced myself properly to you all. suddenly came here and started posting stories and overwhelmed i am that you all accepted me wonderfully . a BIG THANK YOU to all my lovely buddies here.

Before you start reading the next chapter i will request you all to take a tour of what i am actually. he he . Well I am Nairita Bala , the name remains as the display name. Basically an engineer , then a MBA , now working in telecom firm , hope to be the part of Indian Administrative services or a banker in future and be writer is my final destination as i continue my journey of life. I am not at all a writer , but in making sure. But I remember someone told once my mother that if you can nurture your child properly she may turn into a creative person . Always loving studies , i never got addicted to any creative work .

But Time changed , i got addicted to Photography , writing and editing . Hope i can make to the final destination. This is me.

Chapter 11

Priya walked into Sharma Mansion , for a second she had forgotten that after 2 days her engagement is there. Seeing her home packed up with guests , she winced her face . Some unexpected match maker aunties , who always wanted her to get married , are there . Courtesy Meenal Masi. Halted by the match maker aunties she got irritated as always she used to get when she meets them.

It's good to see Priya that at last you agreed to Marry.' One of the aunties spoke , splitting out the sweet that she was eating that time. Priya smiled , rather managed to smile. She tried to dash out of them . But one of the aunties hold her back . She couldn't insult the guests after all.

I am really happy for you Priya , Ram Kapoor is a big man, he really deserves you , Sameer was nothing in front of him.' Another one among them spoke. Priya doesn't like to talk about past . But here the match makers are very keen to mention Sameer again and again just to remind her about the broken relationship .

haan sahi kaha ji apne... But if Priya would have married Sameer abhi tak priya ki ghrahasti shuru ho gayi hoti ..' the ladies laughed as she added , koi na , abhi jaldi jaldi start kar lenge .'

Priya's mood is already being spoiled by Ram's revelation , and those aunties were testing her patience like anything , She was losing her patience every moment as they spoke and made fun of her , making her remind of her past relationships. The aunties took her to the middle of the hall. Priya sat there against her will. The aunties started showing her colorful party dresses .

From up staircase as Meenal saw Priya sitting with the ladies , she descended . hi baby.' She gave priya a hug and then asked for Ram's ring . Priya looked down . Meenal masi asked her if she has chosen the ring or not . this time too her question went unanswered.

come on priya don't tell me that , you have not gone to the shop ?' meenal masi asked . Priya sighed only as her reply. I am fade up of you Priya.' Meenal masi stood back in dejection. She took out the phone and dialed a number . the other aunties tried to keep Priya busy in the clothes . But Priya's attention was moved to meenal Masi as she heard Ram's name. She heard Meenal Masi asking Ram to come down to Sharma mansion to choose the ring for him and Her, together. Priya stood up to leave , but Masi was faster than her . She held back her hand to stop her.

After finishing the call , she asked the designer to show case priya's engagement Designer Lehenga . The designer with much pride show cased a pink lehenga fitted in a mannequin. Like it' Masi asked. Priya walked to the mannequin and touched the fabric and tried to guess the weight of the same. Designers eyes can read clients mind they say . The designer with much pride said , embedded with synthetic ruby , pearl, emerald in the border , along with gold and crystal work all over , it's a class just like you Ma'am . app hi ki tarah wajandar . 18 kgs and it costing 6000$ .'

what ????' priya exclaimed ., and the designer took the pride . Priya walked to Meenal Masi she took her to a corner, and asked about what non sense she is trying to do .

its only one time you are marrying priya , not one of the .. it calls for best , I need to show the accessories too with it to you , but after Ram leaves I want your look to be a surprise to everyone except me. Shipra wanted to make you look like an Apsara from heaven . It's on me now .' Masi said .

okay , I can understand your feelings for me , but you know from very starting , that ..' priya was intervened by her masi , that you don't want to see me in your life? ' Priya kept on looking into Meenal's eyes. She wiped out the tears from her eyes , Priya looked down , she didn't want to hurt her masi , but what she said , was right .

what ever priya , I really didn't cared that time , neither now , nor in the future I will care , u know why ?' she looked into priya's blank eyes for an answer , she continued , because , I love you . That time we might be wrong , but sometimes you don't have control in your own emotions . I did wrong . I did . and what I ... lost , I cant get it back . but I hope one day , I will get it back. Who knows you may be the one to give it back to me ..' she said with teary eyes. but beta ... I am really ashamed of myself . Sometime we should decide when we should . the more we will linger the more we will lose. I pray god one day .. one day HE will gift you back to me.' She said hiding her tears from Priya.

Masi , I didn't want to hurt you .' Priya tried to console her masi .

that's the problem . You don't speak . Speak . Shout. Scream . But don't keep anything in your heart. The more you will hide in your heart , the more you will sink . na tab kaha , na aaj kehti hai. Ander ghutti rehti thi ,and still the same.' Masi said.

Priya looked down , she has no answer. Years ago what happened between them has changed priya's life , changed priya . She turned into a tough person , from a bubbly candid girl . From a Party hard Animal to A decent , hard working Girl. Priya walked back to the hall to her study . Meenal masi shouted, stop there . No study business for three four days , only care about yourself . You know very well , what I say I mean and what I mean that I only say .' Priya looked back and Masi winked at her , asking the ladies to do the mehendi work on her hands. Before priya could react , she found herself among the crowds . two ladies were doing their art work on her hand , and huge number of eye balls were just starring at her and on her hands.

While priya's mehendi was on its half way , Ram arrived there with neha and vikram . He came there directly from the restaurant but due to traffic he got late. Masi welcomed him with a warm hug . Masi took him dashing through the crowd , Neha sat by Priya looking into her mehendi .

look who are here !' she exclaimed . Priya knew Ram was there because Neha was there too . But as she looked back , she found Her darling coming there. Priya excused herself from the artists and ran to her darling , She welcomed her extended family too . Meenal informed Shikha ji that Priya has dramatically forgot to choose the ring for Ram . Scolding Priya she asked her to choose the ring with Ram . Meera wheeled Shikha ji inside while priya walked back to the artists who were waiting to complete her mehendi art .

Ram kept on looking at Priya , he wanted her once to look at him , but he completed neglected the fact that ram was there. Ram knew that she was upset with him, he didn't felt good to be there , even his family didn't have any knowledge that he was at Priya's place to choose the engagement ring . He thought of his Dadi , she might not be happy with the fact that she neglected the family and gave importance to Priya's Masi . He can take advantage of this logical or illogical fact to get out of Sharma Mansion.

Seeing his Friend in deep thought , Vikram tapped on his shoulder . Ram looked back , he sighed as Vikram asked Ram about his thought. Ram walked to Meenal Masi . Masi turned as he called her noting her as Masi' .

Meenal , it will be fine Ram , well if I call you Ram would you mind?' she asked .

No never . you can , but I will like to call you Masi only , because you are well older than me .' Ram replied . They burst into laugh as Masi , took out her pocket mirror and checking her face she said that how can Ram say that she is older than him , even she is not having wrinkles . Priya looked back to them as she heard them laughing. Ram's eyes met hers . He Stopped laughing and stood still. Masi , followed his eyes and as priya saw her starring at them , She concentrated back on her hand to see the mehendi Art.

okay , so you two fought or need privacy which one?' Meenal Masi Asked Ram. Embarrassed Ram , shy-ed and informed her that he has to leave for his home as , his family wants to pick Priya's Ring in agreement and the jeweler has already reached his place.

Though Meenal can smell something wrong in the environment , she didn't stop Ram from leaving . Ram took the elders blessings and with his friend he left Priya's place.

For next two days , none of them tried to connect each other . ... They spent the days busy among the families and Priya kept herself busy in family and more in her work and training Karthik for the future.

Engagement Day...

The engagement venue was "The Westin" Two power packed business houses and their heads are coming together. It is the hottest coverage for every news Channel . The news reporters , preached outside , and the center of discussion was Ram and Priya , their wardrobe , who is the designer. Always embraced by much privacy , priya managed to reach the hotel before the media , But Ram came there when every media channel was there to get a glimpse of the bride and groom .

Sir , please tell us , what are your plans for the marriage where the marriage will happen , what is the date , where you are going for honeymoon ? will the business houses get merged after the marriage ?' an array of questions came from the journalists . Vikram guarded the ram and karthik helped Neha to escort the elders , to move inside . Karthik took them to their respective rooms . After few minutes karthik saw Ram and vikram coming there too . he showed Ram his Room .

Karthik , where is your sister ?' Ram asked . Karthik smiled and left . Ram nodded his head in dejection and walked into his room with Vikram .

Just do one thing ram , talk with her after the engagement . you two need to talk face to face you know . Priya might be fighting with her brain and heart . I don't know if she has already forgiven you or something worse she has planned for you .' Vikram gave a pause as ram intervened , R u giving me hopes or you are trying to make me more nervous?'

He laughed , and took his nervous friend inside.

The engagement was not a star stud party . It was kept very much personal , because Ram and Priya both of them , believed that Personal things should remain personal , like every other common person. Ram with his family and friends were welcomed with much honor to the ceremony. Dadi and Mrs.Kapoor , senior , was waiting for Priya. Even Ram's eyes were finding her longingly .

Dressed in the Pink Lehenga , Studded with diamond jewelry, Priya came to the venue. Ram couldn't move his eyes from her , She surely looked like an angel from the heaven , who came there only for her . Priya walked to the elders took their blessings . Dadi asked priya to seat by her. They talked amongst. Ram couldn't manage to take his eyes from his would be wife. Vikram cleared his throat to take Ram's attention to him . Ram blushed as he found Neha and Vikram smiling at him.

Krishna , nazar toh uttar , bahu ki . Kisi ki nazar na lage humare bacchi ko .' Dadi said . Senior Kapoor rounded a bundle of bills around priya and gave it to Natasha asking her to distribute. Natasha did the same.

Checking the time , Krishna Kapoor asked the families to gather for the ring ceremony. They made Ram priya sit together. Neha made it sure that there remains no space between them. Priya tried to come apart from Ram but Neha and vikram resisted , they sat on either side of them gluing them together as they want. Ram looked at Priya , but she was not looking at him , he wanted to tell her how beautiful she is looking , but priya didn't looked at her. Neha's found ram starring at Priya , as his mother was calling him by his name. Neha cleared her throat to take Ram's attention to her. After two tries , Priya looked at Neha and as she looked at Ram , he looked other side and found himself in an awkward position , because all the ladies including his mother , dadi and sister were smiling at him. He knew why they were smiling at him .

Meenal masi gave Priya , Ram's ring . She slipped it into his Ring finger. The hall , roared with claps , karthik captured the moment of happiness. Then it was ram's turn . He extended his hand to Priya, she without protesting for once placed her hand softly over his, but she didn't looked at him. Ram softly slipped the Heart of Eternity , a blue diamond ring in her ring finger. Priya looked at it . She looked up .

Wow , fatty ! this you choose yesterday ?That's why you denied to chose ring for her ? ' Neha said taking priya's hand on her's

yesterday , No he has chosen this way back neha . He just asked me to take it from the bank locker yesterday , basically now it is in its place. It is looking more beautiful on priya's hand. Isn't it ?' Krishna Kapoor said.

a picture please.!' Kartik said , he handed the camera to a waiter , and ran to his didi and jiju. The whole family gathered , the Kodak Moment captured. Ram found the elders of the two families exchanging words with each other . their attention has little moved from them . That's the chance for him to talk with Priya. He whispered in Priya's ears , I am sorry .. I have...' Ram couldn't complete even , priya snapped at him. It didn't take seconds to understand that Priya was still angry with him. He reserved into his place.

Hours passed , Ram tried to talk with Priya many times , but she didn't showed any interest to listen to him once. It made Ram more impatient , and then suddenly he remembered something . ram called Neha and took her to a corner.

Kya hai ..' Neha shouted .

Shhh.. meri Maa.. I need your help . Please.' Ram pleaded .

kaisi help hmmm?' Neha asked .

Ram looked around to make sure that if , any one is noticing them or not . he found it safe to execute the plan , listen carefully , Maa and dadi has brought that Red lehenga for priya , remember !' Neha nodded her head positively . Ram then continued , Good , now do one thing ask maa dadi , and take priya to her room . I will be there .'

Neha repulsed from Ram , she was almost going to shout , he controlled herself and coming near to him , she said , what are you saying Ram ? tum udhar why ?'

I will not be in that room but I will take her before you two reach there . I need to talk with her yaar , she is not even looking at me . I need to clear this . I need to tell her why I lied to her . just do one thing take her to the room and make sure she walks to your left , otherwise I will snatch you, instead of her. And leave after I sms you from the room okay.' Ram said .

Neha thought for a while and then agreed to Ram and walked to the elders. Shikha ji who was sitting with Other elders , saw ram walking out of the Hall . she looked back and found Priya still sitting there . She sat back . But something played in her mind and she dialed Ram's number . Seeing Shikha ji's number , ram walked back into the hall directly to her .

Ram took blessings from her and knelt infront of her. Shikha ji found ram's attention on Neha who was talking with the Kapoor seniors , She tapped on Ram's shoulder , I know you are upto something , but let me make you aware of a fact Ram , don't do anything that will break her for always . and let me introduce someone to you .' Shikha ji looked for meenal masi , pointing to her , she said , look at the lady.' Ram looked back as Shikha ji continued , she is the reason , priya is like a stone now . I don't want to loose her like meenal lost her . Her every try to get her back goes in vein .let me handle priya , because I know how to handle her . And I will ask you to disclose the truth to your family about our plan , that's the way you can be safe .' Shikha ji cocked aside , she didn't found the environment to the perfect to talk about , She asked ram to act intelligently and drop back to her , when ever he gets free. Ram took her blessings and walked to his room.

As directed by Ram and getting green signal from him and a permission from the kapoor elders , Neha took Priya to the Rooms that were allocated to them in the west in . Neha made it sure Priya walks to her left. Neha didn't exchanged words with Priya , she was very nervous , only one thing is going in her brain is , what and why ram is going to do all this. Just a door away from priya's room , Neha stopped as Someone pulled Priya from her. Neha got scared if it was not ram then , she thought . But her freight diminished as she saw Vikram peeping out from the room allocated to the kapoors. Vikram confirmed that Priya is in safe hands of Ram only. Neha Sighed .

Inside the Room ...

Priya was totally taken aback with the action . she couldn't even give her reaction properly . Ram pinned her to the wall and whispered , it's me.' Priya now could see Ram in the dim light of the room. She tried to get away from him but he is stronger than him .

I will shout Ram.' She snapped at him while she warned . it didn't moved Ram , he made his grip firmer and stronger . Priya was about to shout for help . ram made his next move he kissed her softly , Priya struggled to push him away from herself , But she gave up to his physical strength and her love that she has for him . the one sided kiss , slowly turned into a romantic coaxing of the two souls. They parted as they felt the need of air badly.

let me speak once , please priya just listen to me once .' Ram said cupping her face . She didn't replied . Ram made her look at hims. She didn't responded to him , But ram wanted her to listen to him , making his grip more firmer , he said , I didn't want to hurt you ,neither I wanted to lie to you . I did that to make you aware of the fact that you love me too . I know before you , I fell for you , but you were so egoist that you didn't even wanted to hear what your heart is trying to say you . I only wanted to make you aware of the fact that you love me and you need to speak it out .. that's it. I never have had any bad motive behind it priya . I love you . That's the reason I did that . Trust me baby .. please trust me .' Ram looked at priya who was looking at him directly then.

Hitting Ram badly on is chest priya broke into tears , placing her head near his heart she at last spoke , I trust you , I love you and that's the reason I didn't called off this engagement but you know how much I was in guilt . I was thinking from that day , I may have snatched you from preeti , I may have broken her heart . I was feeling so guilty and you ...' She cried again .

I said na baby , I am sorry .' ram said again.

promise me, you will not do this non sense again . you will not lie again to me .' priya asked .

Ram came closer to priya , he wiped out her tears with his thumbs as he cupped her face. He nodded a big no firmly. Priya threw herself into his arms. Ram hugged him tightly and longingly. Ram then let her look at him , setting her messed up hair properly , he said, I couldn't even take my eyes off from you . You are looking so so so so very much beautiful today .'

why I don't look beautiful other wise ?' priya asked pouting her lips .

always , but today you are looking like Greek goddess . It's really hard to keep my eyes away from you . kahi bhi dekhu , kuch bhi sochu , kuch bhi karu .. you are ruling over my heart and brain.' Ram smiled and came closer to her to kiss her again .. but he has to stop as Neha knocked at the door she called them hurriedly. Ram walked to the door and opened the already unlocked door .

Neha and Vikram came inside , she said hurryingly , ; sorry ram have to take Priya , because one of your grandfather and other family is here and he wants to see his granddaughter in law and she need to change in the lehenga too , courtesy you . so bid a bye to your princess and the romance that you two were doing here to be continued ...' Neha didn't let either of them speak and took priya out from the room leaving Vikram behind.

Ram raising his voice a bit , Will call you later today .. be awake.' Vikram smiled where as Neha shouted back .. teenage love ...nautanki ' Ram could see Priya once before she walked out of the room . she smiled and winked at him . Ram winked back . vikram tapped on his shoulder and smiled . Ram blushed and Vikram took Ram in his embrace and congratulated him for the new beginning of his life .
