Part 10

Walking into her office in her formal attire she never failed to hold the dignity of being a good mother. Every day after dropping her children Arushi and Aarav to school, she was no more a woman of household but a lady who knows to play the fair game at Business.

As soon as she landed into her place Asawari followed her up giving the details of the meetings that are scheduled for the day. After going through all the hectic meetings one after the other at last she was resting on her recliner placed in her cabin, she received a call by receptionist informing the arrival of Mr. Siddharth Malhotra. Their company has proposed a merger of Sheetal Industries.

She was checking the papers in which all the details about the deal have been proposed and she was carefully reading the conditions that had been kept and if there are any problems with those.

When she heard a sound of the knob of the door click open she turned to see a man in his late 20's entering the cabin at an ease and settle himself comfortably on the sofa as if he owned the place.

She started in her barely friendly tone "Mr. Siddharth Malhotra, I suppose that my company has some problems with this deal as some of the conditions mentioned in this contract are unacceptable and the name of other companies that are being part of this merger haven't been clearly mentioned and I am afraid that won't do and that's... "She was about to say much more when she was cut in between by him.

"What is it Sheetal, whenever we meet you always discuss business" said Siddharth in his ever so ready flirty expression and she did what she felt was right that is to clearly make him understand that she is not the one who gives in to his cheesy moves.

She just threw him a stern gaze and said "I suppose that is the reason we actually meet. That is to discuss business" and cocked her eye brow and pursed lips as if questioning him.

"Yes, I know that Sheetal but what if we become more than just business partners "he said as he marched near her to reach her and stand just behind her whilst Khushi was deeply analyzing the contract and thinks that are need to be followed.

"Just cut the crap Mr.Siddharth. I am no where available for anything more than my business and the other time I have is for my kids. So I think that should clear your mind from having any misconceptions".

"Yes, it did clear many things though and now I guess you are a single mother and you may need a support to lean on someone who would take care of kids, of your business, of you and your body... " saying so he slipped his hand on her waist before he could say much more he was welcomed by a loud thudding echoing in his right ear and a burning trial of fire across his face and he fell backward stumbling a little as he got hold of edge of her desk.

Khushi was so much flabbergasted even to think that she was subjected to such an ill mental notation by this chit of a guy who actually didn't earned a single penny but just rely on his family's fortune till now. She was furious to know how he dared to touch her let alone speak those ill things to her.

She gazed angrily at him with blood shot angry eyes and let out all the pent up frustration into her to pour over him "what do you think of yourself huh? And what do you think who am I? Am I a bitch who get laid to every man she come across. Do you think that because I am single then you better get that thing out of your filthy mind mister that thinks that women are good for nothing than for bedding and developing babies?" she was furious on this, unable to understand why this species of Human, so called Men is so much judgmental about a woman's ability.

"Stop over reacting Sheetal it is common in our business and don't you know that Women like you need a lend on and that's what I gave you, a chance to favor you and in return I can get my share of favors" he smirked shamelessly slowly wiping blood oozing out of his lower lip that was the result of her slap.

It was limits and she wouldn't take more of this she just gritted her teeth and held a hand towards the exit and said "GET OUT" in a hoarse whisper pointing towards it, she don't know how can she still maintain her voice in control but one thing was sure she was not going to sign this deal now, the deal is over. Before he was going out she needs to tell him that the deal doesn't exist anymore if she wishes not seeing his filthy face again.

"And if you think you will break this deal with me then mister here is my verdict that I, Miss Sheetal don't want to have any sort of deal with your so called companies and you may leave now" she said with a finality in her tone.

"So just buck up and just leave my cabin right now before I call the guards in and yes you remember that women are much more efficient than they are ever assumed to be "she said with a smirk and with that siddharth huffed and left the room giving her an angry glare.

She lifted her phone and called her one of her associates Komal Mehta to take care that man does not pester around her company anymore and she agreed happily to do so as she was too witnessing his over than anything buttering, she instructed all the securities to look after the orders to be followed as per being instructed.

She saw Siddharth exiting the office with angry face and a red cheek and mentally praised Sheetal for her tight slap and she left for work giggling at last pleasurable end to a tiring and hectic day.

Khushi can't let any of these matters effect her mood, she has to be strong for her kids and just closed her eyes and saw those adorable faces smile widely at her she too smiled and now felt much better and for that smile on her kids face she can do anything. She is ready to take up any trauma but will never let that smile on their faces fade away.

She smiled as she remembered her children are waiting for their mamma to take them in to a warm embrace that she does every day after reaching home her Love nest religiously. She promised today to take them to a movie and Asawari is also accompanying her she laughed remembering how panicked she got due to her naughty twins.

She was so much puzzled one day at mall when she thought she lost them, she just gazed other side for a second or so and these tiny toddlers disappeared giving their mamma almost heart attack. She ran around the space to find them frantically when she saw them cuddled up against a huge teddy bear stuff toy which almost felt like they were sitting in its lap. She breathed a long relief sigh when she finally found them again. She kissed their foreheads and embraced them with all her love her heart was still thumping loudly fearing about even thinking to lose them.

From that day she never missed to take someone with her on the kid's day out and every time Asawari used to follow up as she loved to share the day out with her and kids.

They reached movie theatre and kids were excited very much excited to watch a cartoon movie "The Incredibles" when Asawari spotted a poster of Titanic and asked Khushi to watch it with her the other day but she denied it. They watched the movie and enjoyed the evening and bid byes and left for their homes.

Asawari was more confused now as much as she knew about her she never denied anything to her but why she denied to watch Titanic. It may be simple like it seems but there is much more to it as she noticed something in her eyes that she need to figure out soon.
