One tight slap!
If you see reflections of Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan in the camaraderie between Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor,you are not alone.The two-film-old Ayan owes his meteoric rise to the charismatic RK,who toplined both his projects.Ayan has been pretty vocal about how indebted he is to his friend and mentor,often getting moist-eyed while talking about how RK has helped him stay afloat.On the other hand,in a recent interview RK declared,hes ready to lay down his life for Ayan.The bonhomie is touching.But also problematic,as we found out.At a SoBo nightclub the other day,Ayan and RK were having a bit of a boys night out with a bunch of other non-Bollywood friends.They were at a private table,where RKs many fans kept walking up to him,requesting for photo-ops and autographs.Always the charmer,RK obliged all of them,much to the chagrin of his companion.Not happy with the constant intrusions and disruptions,the even-tempered Ayan began to lose his equanimity.Things came to a head when a young lad approached RK.Unaware of the fact that he is the elder son of one the countrys most famous industrialists,Ayan snapped at him.Not used to such public humiliation,the industrialists son retaliated with a resounding slap on the filmmakers face.Curiously enough,rather than rise to his friends defence,RK decided it was best to lay low and make a quiet,dignified exit.Only after a few minutes of shocked silence that is.
