Rashami Desai, who plays Tapasya in Uttaran', has resumed yoga after a year. She feels yoga is a far better option than gym when it comes to fitness and weight loss. Rashami was introduced to yoga even before she took up Uttaran', but couldn't pursue it due to erratic shooting schedules.
"I go to my yoga class regularly. If I miss a class in the morning, I make sure to attend in the evening. We, as actors, burn out fast. Yoga helps keeping us fit," she said. On being asked if weight loss is on the agenda, she says, "I am healthy and don't believe in being size zero. But I want to lose five kilos as I feel it will make me look better."
