Part 50

Arnav was pacing in his ward.. He clenched his fist in frustrated.. He was literally cursing himself.. He feel like destroying every part of this room but he knew that won't clam his nerves.. He shut his eyes tight only to hear her sobs.. While, this was the first time he get to know she was an orphan.. She...

Arnav: "Errggg..." he literally shouts in anger..

His heart was taunting him today and he don't even have any answer to reply to the valuable piece of his.. What kind of Husband you are..? You don't even know anything about your wife..? So bad of you ASR.. You always torture an Innocent child which don't have a pillar to stand for her.. She is an orphan and they way you taunt her clearly show your cruel side.. He pounce in anger on the wall.. His fist was red so does his eyes..

That's when the nurse and the Doctor walked in only to find him standing at the corner while the tubes was lying lifeless on the bed and floor..

Doctor: "What are you trying to do ASR..??" The voice of the Doctor was enough to bring him back to presence.. He turn and looked with his angry eyes...

Arnav: "None of your business.. Whatever I did I don't have to tell you nor I need your permission.." He barked at the Doctor who was little taken back with his rude answer.. But the Doctor knew him and his family very well.. He do knew what kind of anger this young man has in him..

Doctor: "I knew it's not my business but seem you are here its our concern to look after your health.. Now get on the bed as we need to do some test.." He casually walked towards the bed and laid himself.. The nurse injected again the tubes on his hand which he already trashed before..

After they took some testes the Doctor and the nurse walked out and he told them to call Aman in.. He need to talk with him..

Aman: "ASR.." he come in..

Arnav: "Get Shashi Gupta's doctor here.. I wants to meet him.. NOW..!" he command.. Aman nodded in agreement and walked away towards the Doctors cabin..

The man wearing a white uniform marched into his room following by Aman from behind.. The Doctor was late 50 and he look experience based on his age.. Arnav was seating on the bed while his back was lean on the headboard..

Arnav: "Arnav Singh Raizada.." he greeted the Doctor with a formal handshake.. "I need to know everything regarding Shashi Gupta.. Every details of his health.." The Doctor narrated what had happen and what the condition of the patient right now.. What might happen if the backbone is injured.. The chances of him getting paralyzed was very high..

Arnav gulped down such an terrible health condition of his father in law.. He realized what kind of situation Khushi might be going through.. She loves her father more then everything as she was only closed to him after Payal..

Doctor: "We already send all the reports to lab and only waiting for the answer which might come out in some hour or maybe tomorrow.."

Arnav: "Get the best treatment for him.. Do whatever testes and treatment you want but get him back to normal.. I will pay all the cost of my father in law's treatment.." He instruct Aman to bring his cheque book and he deposited a huge amount for the earlier stage of his treatment..

Corridors

The Raizada Family was arrived few minutes back.. Anjali was seating with Khushi at the Corner.. She was trying to calm her down.. Even she wasn't crying but her sorrow could be seen by them.. She was lost in some thought.. Thought of her husband.. Her heart was still crying seeing him here but she can't forget everything so fast.. She to a human who breath with help of her lungs and live with the help of her heart.. She was crying inside but she didn't want anyone to notice this..

Shyam: "Rani Sahiba.. I think we should call Salehsahib..." Anjali to nodded in agreement.. she was about to dial his number but been stopped..

Khushi: "He was here few minutes ago.." She replied shortly which only brings shocked to Anjali and Shyam..

Anjali: "But he was at Goa.. Then what is he doing here..??" She still couldn't joint the dots.. It was impossible for him to return back in just few hours.. Even he can but still there are some odds which was creating doubts in her heart..

Khushi: "He was here before but I don't know where he is now..?" Shyam and Anjali stared at each other trying to define what the odds behind him going Goa so sudden and then appearing here in next moments..

After few hours..

The other Raizada family already went back to their respective home so does Gupta's family as Shashi's condition is stable now.. But still they was waiting for the final report to come out so they could sigh in relief.. Anjali and Khushi was seating on the bench at the corridors.. Both of them volunteer to be with each other.. Anjali tried to ring Arnav but he didn't answer her called while she too called Aman but she didn't found any information from him..

Both the ladies was sipping their drinks when a Doctor come and approached them.. Anjali greeted him as she knew him very well.. He was their family Doctor more to Arnav who always been diagnosed under him..

Doctor: "You don't have to worry Mrs.Jha and Mrs.Raizada.. ASR is fine now.." Both the ladies stare at each other.. They was confused hearing such answer from the Doctor..

Anjali: "What happen to chotte..??" She asked to clear her confusion..

Doctor: "He was admitted here since last night due to low sugar in his body.." Their eyes popped out hearing such terrifying news.. Some of the words was too hard for them to digest..

Anjali: "Where is he..??" The doctor show them his ward and both the ladies rushed in only to find him seating on the bed..

While, Arnav was more shocked seeing them here.. He didn't expected anyone presence here other than Aman and the hospital staff.. He knew he can't hide it from them anymore as the truth was out.. Anjali was continuously shedding tear seeing the illness of her one and only brother.. She walked to him and seat on the edge of the bad just beside him.. She touch his cheeks with her right palm..

Anjali: "Why did you hide this from us Chotte..??" He wiped his Di's tear and took her hand in his..

Arnav: "Di.. I'm fine now.. You don't have to worry.. You was pregnant and that the reason I don't want to pressure you with my sickness.." He lied..

Anjali: "At least you should tell us.. You are avoiding me right by trying to create distance between us.." Her voice cracked..

Arnav: "No Di.. Nothing like that.." Anjali hug him tight and silently sobs in his embrace.. While, His eyes was just on Khushi who was just staring at him without any emotion on her face.. There were no pain for him.. There were no concern in those eyes.. She was just blankly looking at him as he was no one for her..

It do hurt his heart seeing her expression.. He turn other side avoiding looking in her eyes which only has hatred for him..

Anjali(Pulling back): "Did you had your dinner..??" He nodded weakly.. Anjali was going to volunteer herself to stay here with him but he denied and told them that he wanted to be alone..

Arnav was trying to sleep but it was too hard for him to get rid of his wife's eyes.. It was literally hunting him.. His heart was aching in pain when she don't even bother to ask about his health.. Since the day he was here he was just wishing that she will come here and accompany him but seeing her expression he knew he shouldn't craved for her.. But it was beyond impossible.. He can't even let his day passed without thinking about her.. He felt alone in this dark room just as dark as his life.. He has everyone with him but still he wanted her to be here with him.. How ironic..?? His back was leaned on the headboard as it was making him difficult to breath.. He closed his eyes for some second but open in next moment when the room door was open.. He couldn't see the as the room was dark and some fast footstep coming towards him and the person throw her arms on him.. She was crying harder on his shoulder.. He closed his eyes only to find peace care and concern in his wife's arms which he did craved.. He wrapped his arms around her..

Khushi(Crying): "Aap bohot bure hai Arnavji.. Bohot..! Pehle Babuji aur aab aap.. Aap hamesha aise kyun karte hai..?? Aap ko kya milta hai humme dard dehke..? Kyu nahi bataye aapne ke aap yaha hai..?? Kyun chupaya humse..?(You are very bad Arnavji.. Very bad.. First my Father fall ill and now you.. Why you always do this..? What did you get after giving me pain..? Why didn't you told me that you were here..? Why did you hide from me..?)" She weep badly on his shoulder by wetting his shirt..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Please stop crying.. Please.." he plead.. The more he plead the more harder she cried than before..

Khushi: "What if anything happen to you..?? What if.." She couldn't complete her sentence as the pain on her throat was making her difficult to speak..

Arnav: "Kuch nahi hoga muhje.. (Nothing will happen to me..)" He raked his hand behind her hair just to pull her more into him.. He missed her terribly.. He can't even define with words but when he realize she was the one hug him he couldn't hold himself and took her tight in his embrace..

Khushi: "Kyu aapke paas hone se bhi humein dard hota hai aur aapke dur jaane se bhi.. (Why it cause pain even when you are near me or far from me..)..??" She sobs..

Arnav: "Kyunki tumari saanse meri saans he saath juhri hai.. Hum alag ho sakte hai.. Par humare dil aur hamare saans kabhi bhi alag nahi ho sakti.. (Because your breathe is merged with mine.. We can apart BUT our heart and our breathe can never be apart from each other)" She gulped down her sorrow and hide her face in the crook of his neck..

Emotional update. finally khushi came to know about arnav's health. Arshi conversation was emotional. Hope khushi's father gets well soon
