Reason behind Sanaya's Success in Is Pyaar!!

Well i was just going through one of the articles in FB related to Sanaya Irani ..about her journey on TV..on how she was a part of a super success like Is Pyaar..and how her next show turned out to be a disaster..While some comments claim that Is Pyaar was a success because of the chemistry of Barun-Sanaya..some said she is just a pretty face and no talent..While i disagree to the part that she is just pretty and not talented at all..i had to sumwhere agree that she is not the best in the business..

So i could not stop myself to create this topic and know the opinions of the members here..So my question is what according to u worked for Sanaya in IPK which did not in her next..And please dnt say it was the chemistry..I would like an unbiased opinion from the members here..I know almost all of us here are her fans..and look forward to what she is gonna do next..I am just asking for ur views on wot do you think was the reason behind her unprecedented success in is Pyaar..which failed to show up in her next..

So guys please go ahead and put forward in ur opinion..Please dont bash anyone 😛..otherwise the topic will be closed..Lets make the forum Active...

honestly my friend the title itself make me cringe so i'll forget it... sanaya chemistry is not only with barun but I think as anuj stated she is a bit bold in acting n enter in character that's why her chemistry with any costar will be just spectacular...

she is a damn good actress n first that I really liked

u r asking not to say 'chemistry... but it is indeed the chemistry over and over again. coz ipk was just like any other normal story ... even better stories r there which become unnoticed on tv coz of the dull chemistry of the leads. even during the crappiest tracks we stayed glued to the tv just coz of their sizzling chemistry. sanaya and barun complete each other. if barun wasnt there sanaya wouldnt have had this success with any other actor. and at the same time if sanaya wasnt there barun wouldnt have been able to bask in the glory of ASR fame. sanaya and barun chemistry has become a cult. so people still find it hard to accept them with other people. i wont be surprised if barun's next projects become disaster like chanchan ( hope they dont turn out to be disasters )

coz people only look for barun around sanaya and sanaya around barun.

and i am a sarun fan. and i have tried to watch chanchan. but couldnt , even if sanaya is acting nicely the benchmark set by sarun chemistry in ipkknd is too high that no other show captivates me. and the same thing happened with me regarding barun. i have seen his pictures with the heroine of his movie. they were trying to be comfortable and tried to revive the chemistry. but that spark was missing. even though he was looking hot i didnt find it anything extra ordinary to look forward to.

now many may say that they must act with other actors. and yes ofcourse they should. infact they are doing. but till now both of them have failed to recreate the same magic with other people. and i dont know if that would ever be possible. they will keep on working with other actors and viewers will have their own views. some will stick to their projects while some will pick the remote.

script and direction...it worked both for Barun and Sanaya, I was not their fan from previous shows. Promotional photographs and promos got me to watch it, and than it was story, script, music, acting, direction, editing...yeah everything which created magic.

Well , I don't think Sanaya is just a pretty face.

She acts really well , in fact much better many of the TV actresses...

And which ever character she has portrayed till now , she has done justice to all of them all !!

She is an Excellent actress.

Now coming to the point of why IPK worked and chhanchan didn't -

(1) Channel - Star Plus is much of a bigger channel than Sony and it has got much larger number of audience worldwide.

(2) Story - IPKKND's story had clicked with the audience fro the very beginning , and then people fell in love with the characters and so on.. whereas people were never much connected with CC's story. Most people watched it for SI and the list includes meas well.

(3) Barun - Sanaya Chemistry : Whether someone accepts it or not , SaRuN's amazing chemistry played a major role in the success of the show.In fact i the last few months of iPk , when the story line had dropped , people watched it only for SaRuN !

Well these are the reasons that are coming into my mind right now..

And would still say Sanaya Is an very talented actress , not just a beautiful one.

Well i agree one of the reasons was their chemistry ofcourse..but then on TV there have been many famous pairs like this..but all of them have moved on to different shows or projects..and most of them have been more or less successful..an actor cant be working with another for the entire life..and the fact that they are not working together cant be the reason of their failure..

Her chemistry with Barun and the storyline along with a channel like starplus gave the series a huge success

Sanaya Irani is an excellent actor with pretty face..

Well my friend i did not get why my topic's title made u cringe 🤔..i think it was quite ok..😳

And i guess u missed my point in the topic..Sanaya definitely is a good actress..i never said she isnt

wat works and wat dosent work largely depends on the story and the channel

i have followed the show n loved her n d show but the type of show she was doing is never dat well accepted in indian society , u have the minium viewers for dat kind of show

where as wen u do a mills n boons show every age girl lyk to see dat

her show audience was limited to metro cities dat too only girls between 20-25 or 40-50, dat too only those who lyks show which have good story and make sum sense

n as far her acting is concerned i think she is the best in the TV industry n i m not saying dis cauz i m a fan , i hav been critical abt her dance steps (wen all fans lyk her dance moves ) for me she is just a normal dancer nothing veryy waoo types but wen acting comes i dont think nyone is better den sanaya in TV industry

n i have seen the work of other top actresses ,according to IF ranking, for years so i can compare

IPKKND worked

cauz of chemistry ,story , channel n cast not only cauz of SARUN
