Star Plus' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum has become even more interesting ever since the show's protagonists Sooraj and Sandhya moved out of their house to stay in a rented accommodation.

In the recent episodes, it has been seen that Sandya, who is not well-versed with the household tasks, isn't able to manage her house properly. However, her ever supporting husband overlooks her mistakes and stays calm. He even helps her out with the daily chores.

Now, the upcoming episodes of the serial will show the Rathi family getting busy with the preparations for the Teej celebration. However, Bhabho will be doubtful on whether her eldest bahu, Sandhya, would be observing fast on the auspicious day or not. She is also not sure whether Sandhya would be able to carry out all the festive rituals without her guidance. Sources further reveal that while initially she will think about reminding her about the fast however she will soon find out that Sooraj has booked a mehendiwali for his wife. With this she would be assured that the two would be celebrating the festival and would refrain from interfering.

"Taking it as a certainty that Sandhya will fast for him, Sooraj goes ahead preparing for the ritual only to find out that she had completely forgotten about the fast. An embarrassed Sandhya will then seek forgiveness from Sooraj."

Rumor has it Sooraj, who has always been by Sandhya's side, would be taken aback after learning about her act. It would now be interesting to see as to how he reacts to it. Would this mark the beginning of a rift between the two?

Uma aunty,you won't believe me but I'm more upset than what Suraj will be. I am a student,younger tan sandhya and unmarried...but still I didn't like the fact that sandhya dd something like this.

Yes I have progressive thinking,but in sandhya's case,to be honest,she didn't do anything for Suraj since day one,nr is she romantic😕the least she could have done is observe teej.

Now what's pinching me is she forgot teej as she had to submit UPSC papers...now isn't this what bhabho was predicting?? And what Suraj said in every angan drama that it wouldn't happen??

Suraj will be hurt,but I doubt if he would express it. Sandhya should pull her socks up. She has to stop working for her MIL and do her duty as a wife...

I don't want to see how bhabho will look at Suraj when she comes to know about this...

Anyways maman boy had no qualms about maman feeding his wife with certain intoxicants (well he did accept it and so did we all ...cheers), that is about that in terms of ethics.

Maybe it is the oedipian complex that plays havoc on a liquor chocolate inducted brain, who knows!
