No. I don't think so. He probably just knows that BV is viewed in Serbia but might not be aware of the kind of fan following he has there. How is he supposed to know that his Serbian fans will get offended by that tweet? And if that is the case then some of his fans might even be die-hard Nadal fans who might not have liked if Sid supported Nole instead. It doesnot matter. He is free to tweet whatever he wants as long as it is not seriously offensive. Its not possible for him to be thinking about the widely varying likes and dislikes of his fans that doesn't match his before making a tweet. And as a sports fan he has every right to support his favourite in social media. And as I said his true fans will love him no matter what. 😊

But maybe that's why he just could say a great game, great players, well done, congratulations to the winner .Because it was a great match , they are both great players . As I said earlier, celebrities usually avoid to declare publicly which player or sports team they support because they won't hurt any of their fans, next time when he would need some support, or votes , maybe some of those fans would say why should we, let those whom he supports vote for him . Because that's how it works for lot of people . It is true he has every right to have his favorite athletes , but given that he 's in showbiz , he must take care about his fans wherever they are.

Sid' behaved like an ordinary fan & in ecstasy he tweeted. He has always respected fans feeling as such he will certainly tender his apology for hurting all of you unintentionally. Well all of you will surely forgive our hero.
