Colors' Uttaran, produced by FilmFarm India recently saw the manner in which Vishnu (Ajay Chaudhary) got married to Meethi (Tina Dutta) instead of Mukta (Sreejita De).
Yes, the new love-hate story on Uttaran had to start with the wrong partner for both Meethi and Vishnu.
As seen so far, Vishnu was very much in love with Mukta and had confessed his love just before his wedding with Meethi. Meanwhile, Mukta had written a letter to Meethi revealing the same. However, the letter never reached her and the duo got married.
In the last episode it was seen that Mukta confronts Meethi about the same and the latter pleads for innocence but the proofs go against her. This has left Meethi with her future being in a limbo.
Furthermore, we hear that the story will take an interesting twist with Vishnu deciding to spend the rest of his life with Meethi, thus sacrificing his love.
We hear that in episodes to come, Meethi will request Vishnu to divorce her and get back with Mukta again. However, Vishnu will refuse to do so. Instead he will tell her that her mother Ichcha (Tina Dutta) always taught him to give importance to relationships and not break them. Hence, he has decided to continue with this relationship even though the marriage happened due to certain unforeseen circumstances.
When contacted Ajay said, "Vishnu has certain morals and he will live up to them. Therefore, now that he is married to Meethi he will stand by her."
