i agree completely with you, he thinks he's stuck somewhere and does not know how to proceed forward but whenever someone is telling him to leave Lajjo like today Ishana who's supposed to be the love of his life said he preferred to talk about something else or else he knows how to find a way to end the convo.
You edited to add the last bit but I think he can't married both the ladies he already married Lajjo there must be someone else for Ishana for sure.

ikr I was wondering if anyone noticed that too. If even Ishana could not convince him to end his relationship with Lajjo then his definitely not going to go through with it ( returning Lajjo to the village as his mums requested).I'm not saying he will fall head over heels in love with her within the next month but I definitely feel he will become increasingly fond of her and then they will be best friends and finally it will turn to love. And members of his family will gradually come to accept her. Of course some might remain hostile however they will have to acknowledge her role/position in the family.
