With Nikhil today when Sid's mum and his NN are talking badly about Lajoo and people which come from poor families (villagers), that she is taking things for granted, she's not a guest in the house and she should be taught her place by making her a maid there, but even if the story they concocted was true that Barka out of the goodness of her heart took a girl that had been unceremoniously ditched by her husband, why would that make her anything other then a guest as they try to figure out how to resolve her problem if she wanted to be a maid she could go seek that employment herself, and why must they discuss her whilst she is llstening that she is unwanted there and people from the village like her are taking them for granted and misusing their priveleges, anyone listening to that would not stay and if the only option was to be a maid she would go seek employment elseway. Anyway after all that Nikhil heard he was thinking about it and he didn't like them discussing Lajoo in that way, but as soon as Ishana called he lied what he was thinking of, and rushed into several things they can do together, lets go for shopping, no dinner, a movie etc, to me it was looking like I will not think of my wife, but I will force myself to think about Ishana because that's what I should be thinking of and not Lajoo it's not right Ishana loves me and I can't betray her love for me, I mean I must love her too and should want to spend time with her and not be thinking about Lajoo right now or all the time. So in short denial.
The next thing I noticed is he was remembering what type of food she likes, and took care of it that he added the chillies to the tray, and took the tray to her, and then was peeping at her to make sure she ate, what that looked like to me was a guy that's falling in love with a girl and he notices her likes and dislikes, with Ishana he doesn't know what her favourite colour is even, and she complained that he bought her the T-shirts in white though the message was of how much he loves her, but still he could have thought of her colour choice. But lets see if he will notice more of Lajoo's likes and dislikes.
What I also liked in today's episode was Barka's flashback of Nikhil telling her he would not take Lajoo back, that he was married to her, he then went further to say all the heads of the village witnessed their marriage, also when they entered the house he looked at Lajoo and seemed to lead her to seek the ashirwad from his mum, and the way it's hurting him that his family are not accepting the girl he married, I'm trying to think what was in Nikhil's mind when he brought Lajoo home was it only circumstances of doing the right thing or he wants his family to accept her as his wife, but if they do that, that means Ishana and he can never be married 😕
