So lets talk about the big elephant in the room, Daya Maayi. I know a lot of people believe her to be out and out negative but I think she will be another character with grey shades because the two people who absolutely adore her are by and large positive characters Ajji and Raghu and I believe that anyone who has their love and respect must have some redeeming qualities. And then there's Rasika and Chaacha who are terrified by her😆

she is a political figure yaar. her duty comes first , emotions and bonds comes second.this is what I feel from her character.

to be honest it's a little difficult to put a pulse on the character as so far her description is very vague😕...all we know is that Raghu loves and respects her a lot, but this could also be because he feels obligated towards her for some reason...and also Aaji tends to threaten Rasika with her at almost every turn😆, so to me that conveys that although Aaji is the mother, Daya Mai commands more respect and fear...I think I just confused myself more with my ramblings!🤔...I dunno but I don't think we'll get a clear handle on her till the time she actually enters the show

As per some article on kamya Punjabi as daya mai...What is something that attracted you towards the show? "It's a very interesting character as you will never know what this character will do. It is very unpredictable. This character can do anything in life, it has various shades,"said Kamya.

"The reason behind taking the show is that I love the creative team, the way they are shooting, the way they are promoting, but I would become selfish and say that one thing that attracted me to do this show is the name 'Daya Mai'. The name itself made me curious to know more about the character and that's the reason why I am here.
