I donot know much about Economics but based on my observations ,I feel:

Positive Aspects:

The standard of living of Middle class people increased excellently. The rate at which ordinary middle class people are rising to higher middle class is high Pay hike to the employees is really good and I think this can be done only if entire economy is good.
  • All the MNC's are coming to India as this is a goos market.

Negative Aspects:

  • The state of rural people is still bad.The suicide deaths of farmers is increasing. They die because they don't get water for irrigation😕

Still I believe ,India is developing well!!

thats a pretty good summation.

in a sense, the resources of a country can be likened to those of a family/ household. resources, time, energy are limited. we cant do everything at the same time. so what should one focus on. i see posts where people just come up with a laundry-list of problems. doesnt take much to come up with that, whether we are talking about individuals or countries.

in this context, the question would be- how should we prioritize? should we spend on modernization/ modern industries, infrastucture, farm sector, subsidies to poor, defense, health, water etc? in an ideal world, we shld do everything like yesterday. but given finite resources, where does one focus on? spending a bit on everything is as problematical as asking that kid to do a bit of everything. in today's world, it pays to specialize and focus...

btw, let's not overestimate knowledge. what we know as a society keeps doubling every three years or so anyway. no substitute for being able to think.😊

incidentally what i have up there is 10 minute stuff. lets not kid ourselves and think i had to google anything to come up with that. that's elementary stuff. zillions more where that came from 😊

ok I am not saying that you googled / did something wrong. but to keep up with quality debate, I will have to do lot of googling and wikipeding and economy is not something I find remotely interesting. hence pls don't drag me into it. are we clear now rahul? U r a great debator. if I join in here, all i can do is smart-mouth and i want to refrain from it! (thats the correct interpretation for you)
pheww.... u misunderstood. i did not call u smart-mouth and will not 😆 chill. i like what u type. where is the problem?
