Anjana Padmanabhan

Anjana Padmanabhan from Bangalore became the first Indian Idol Junior on Sunday. Others in the race were Debanjana Karmakar from Kolkata, Nirvesh Dave from Ahmedabad and Anmol Jaiswal from Jammu.

Anjana, all of 10 years old, has always impressed judges Shreya Ghoshal, and Vishal-Shekhar with her consistent and versatile performances.

Veteran music composer Pyarelal, who was there in the last episode of the singing reality show, was bowled over by her performance.

She got the trophy and certificate from Amitabh Bachchan, who was flanked by Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan Teja.

Mandira Bedi and Karan Wahi are the hosts of the show.
