The reaction from virat has made Maanvi firm on her decision of getting engaged. Maanvi ****thinking while walking towards hall****: What I have done is right and Virat your this reaction made me confident about it! You have always been a fickle minded person but this time it is about my Tannu and I wont let your uncertainty hamper my Di's happiness and this decision will be well suited for me as well !!! I really want to be detached from you otherwise I wont be able to do so and then even I don't know what will be its outcome.

Her trail of thoughts were broken with Vinay's voice. In her thoughts she didn't even noticed when she reached the hall.

Vinay : Maanvi Beta???? Where are u lost? I am calling u from such a long time? And where is Virat? U both were together na?

Maanvi ***fumbling***: Yes chachu!!! He is coming and with this she went to Shivani to help her .

Her this behavior got the attention of Vanshika as well as Vinay too but they shrugged it thinking to be her discomfort about this sudden marriage thing.

Virat: Taani... Taanii... pick up the phone dammit... where the hell are you??

After his heated argument with Maanvi virat was constantly trying to call taani as he knew that at this time only Tani can handle maanvi but here she was not picking his calls and this was 5^th time in a row that Virat was calling Taani and this proved to be lucky as she received the call.

Taani: uffooo ... Look who has called ??????? The rising singing star and the new lover boy of the town!!!! Akhir Meri yaad aa hi gayi??? I thought that u were so busy in your newly found feelings and its expression to the lucky person that u forgot your buddy!!!!Any ways hows everything Going? It's have been long... Did u confessed your feelings to her or not??? What did she say?...What was her React...

And Taani's questions were cut off by Virat's roar as he was from so long trying to tell her the current situation but she was continuously blabbering...

Virat: Oh shut up taani***shouting*** would u stop your nonsense and for once listen to me...

Taani was shocked and hurt as well!Virat shouting on her was new to her she herself knew that she had been annoying many a times to the extent of being suicidal but virat never shouted on her but today...today it was unexpected... and she was hurt ...Very...Very hurt...

Taani *** teary eyes and shaking Voice***: sorry Virat I have been annoying you with my nonsense ... Extremely sorry... Hey look I have some work, will call u later ***being not able to talk much she thought this to be the best option for the time*****

While Taani was saying all this Virat's anger calmed down and he realized what he did !!!!

Virat**** closing his eyes,took deep breath***: Hey... Hey ... Taaaniii !! wait yaar!!! Look I am sorry I shouldn't have shouted on you !!! It's my mistake but here the situation is getting out of my hand...

Now this made Taani curious and scared also as it was decided by them that this week Virat will tell Maanvi about what he feels for her and giving "Them" a chance as a couple so that if everything goes well they could get into an relationship!!! A strong committed relationship as Maanvi was acting very weird and Taani knew what consequences it may lead to.

Taani ***forgetting everything***: Virat what happened??tell me is it about u and mannu?????... **silently praying it to be not***

Virat: hmmm...

Taani:Omg Virat!!!! What happened????? Please tell me each and everything...

And Virat told her the entire story...

Taani: What????????? Is maanvi out of her mind???? She is such an irrational fool ... don't Panic Virat I am coming there from next possible flight !!! I wont let that stupid creature spoil her life due to her so called stupid tyaag thing... U don't worry... ok???????

Here virat was smiling seeing her concern she truly was world's best sister and best friend!!! Maanvi correctly says and today it was proved again...

And he put the phone smilingly a bit relaxed where as taani was in deep thought about the sudden change in Maanvi's behavior and her efforts for drifting apart from Virat!!!

Shivani was walking towards the hall lost in thoughts when she suddenly heard Vinay saying... Bhaisaab and bhabhi are coming with groom's family tomorrow maanvi!!!So now u will get some time to spend with before engagement and to know him better.

Maanvi was smiling all the time but it was only Vanshika who noticed it to be a forced one!

Shivani: what didi and bhaisaab are coming!!!! With the our mannu's prince charming????? Great news ...

Vinay***smiling***: Yes dear but where is Virat ?? u went to call him no???

Shivani : Yes... He is coming... And with this she drifted back to what she had listened

Meanwhile Virat was walking to the hall. After talking to taani he was feeling a bit relaxed!!! He was continuously staring lovingly at a platinum ring he had in his hand! This was the ring he brought for Maanvi to give her while proposing when he will be sure that "they " are possible and somehow he knew that yes "they" are possible. But suddenly his steps froze listening to vinay's words"... ... Bhaisaab and bhabhi are coming with groom's family tomorrow maanvi!!!So now u will get some time to spend with before engagement and to know him better.""' And adding to his irritation Maanvi was continuously smiling and shying from all these talks.

Virat***maintaining calm and composed stature with a smile on his face****:woooaahhh !!! now this is called jet speed!!!The guy is coming tomorrow???? Seems like a despo!!!!

All others just took it as a joke and laughed out but Maanvi didn't!

Vinay: no dear he isn't but your friend is... Actually it was Maanvi's suggestion to spend time with him before engagement...

Virat***Gritting his teeth and smiling***Reallyyy... Excited much mannu... haan!!! U really seem to love or say like that guy tooo much yaar!!! Hey wait a second do you know him from before... or do "We" know him from before????????????? (it was more of a statement and warning rather than a question)

Here Virat was bombarding Maanvi with his satirical questions and was throwing daggers with his words Maanvi was now really worried that what will happen when he would see"ANGAD". This mere thought was sending shivers! And she being not able to keep up with his questions she excused herself interrupting Vinay who was going to tell him about the prospective "Guy" by saying that tomorrow is gonna be a busy day so they should now take rest and they all agreed! Virat also went but his eyes were always on Maanvi making her conscious and not able to meet his eyes!And this all was being noticed by Vanshika and she made a note of talking to Virat as soon as possible!!

~~~~~Next Day,Two days before engagement~~~~

Everyone was waiting eagerly for Madan and Pinky and most importantly the "Prospective Groom" but the two souls who were not only anxious but also not at peace were Virat and Maanvi!!! Virat because he wanted to know who dared to cross his boundary and make his face bleed because of this act and maanvi as she knew that what Virat could do to the guy and his anger would be increased 10 times when he will see the guy!!!!

It was the time when Virat has came to Chandigarh with taani in summer vacation! This guy was school friend of Maanvi and also wanted to be a singer ***my fate,such a similarity****! She never dared to tell virat about him as she knew his reaction as he never liked any guy to be near her as per him she was too innocent to handle them but Taani knew about him and it completely slipped out of Maanvi's mind to keep them apart!!! It was their farewell after 10^thand 12th for the students leaving the school and he was her senior,in 12thh and was really protective and affectionate about her and Taani as well.

Guy: Hiii maanvi u are looking really cute!Just like a princess!!!

Maanvi:***blushing*** thanks

Taani: Ahem... Ahem... And me !? am I not looking good???

Maanvi was enjoying this healthy flirting convo suddenly her eyes fell on Virat who was listening to all this and she went all dizzy and looked at taani for help! Taani too shut her eyes as she completely forgot that she had brought virat with her as she came after Maanvi has reached the venue and she didn't wanted to leave Virat alone at house and when their convo started Virat was out to receive a call.

Virat was raging in anger by the time and was going to say but by the time

Guy: Would u like to dance with me maanvi?????? Please don't say no dear!!! I am leaving the school yaar! Pata ni fir kab milenge!!!pleasee...

For a moment manvi forgot Virat's presence and nodded in yes. The guy took her to the dance floor and they both were dancing in their own world , laughing and enjoying still maanvi's eyes were drifting towards Virat,she always had feeling for Virat but with this guy he was her friend her guide the one on whom she can trust for any decision!!! Here taani was silently praying and watching virat's brimming anger to prevent any scene from being created she went on the dance floor and

Taani: Kya yaar thoda sa dance mere saath bhi kar lo!!! Even I can dance sala.

Guy***Laughing***: Why not dear!!! Today is my lucky day I guess!!!I am getting to dance with two beautiful girls!

Maanvi just smiled at that guy's naughtiness and excused herself looking for Virat and when she didn't found him hum she left a sigh of relief.

As she was walking between the crowd she was a hand came and dragged her with him. She was terrified to the core and tears started welling up in her eyes and when she was calmed a bit she noticed that it was Virat!!!! He didn't asked her anything and dint let her speak anything ,there was a rage and anger in his eyes! he just said "I told u to stay away from guys! Don't u understand!? U are too innocent to handle them and I don't know who that guy was? Is he your friend or not but now stuff this thing in your tiny head that you are not going to talk to that or any other guy! Do you understand????????? Its better for u to do so ..."With this he left her shivering in fear but they both failed to notice those two eyes who were watching this entire thing!

By the time maanvi calmed and returned back party was over and taani was looking for her with virat and his piercing gaze and that guy was no where found! For a moment Maanvi was hell worried about him and dared to ask Taani about him that too in front of Virat but he didn't reacted for her solace and taani told that he had to leave as he had his flight.

Later Maanvi told everything to Taani and she too was very much pissed with Virat's reaction and in later years taani told her that they both have met again in a music talent hunt and Virat lost to him with a very small difference!

But that time she never knew that all of them will meet again that too in this situation

Maanvi's train of thoughts were broken by screech of brakes and here they were the time has arrived! Her parents have arrived with the "Guy" and it was time for a face off!

Everyone greeted each other, amongst teasing ,laughing and tears he showed up and this made Virat frozen at his place !!!! now his anger knew no bounds!This was really a shocking incident for him as destiny was playing a really dirty game but this time he was not going to be on the receiving end and with this he was able to maintain his cool and calm face which was scaring hell out of Maanvi!Finally it was time for introduction and to maanvi's relief it was initiated by the Guy.

Guy: Hi... I am Angad!!! Angad Chopra

Virat: Hiii buddy! Am ... (with evil smirk and stiff handshake)

Angad: Virat Vadhera! everyone knows u!!!! A rising Star ...( with same stiff handshake and and proud smile)
Maanvi looking at both of them as a silent and bewildered spectator..Vinay welcomed them all to their place and rest of the time went as in teasing and laughing while two people were busy in throwing daggers at each other while other praying that nothing wrong should happen.

The day passed and nothing happened of that sort which maanvi expected! Virat was cool and calm and patiently left after dinner to his respective "work" which made maanvi more nervous but a part of her made her think that may be he has accepted everything as it is for everyone's betterment!

With these thoughts she drifted in to sleep inhope that the mess is now cleared!

~~~~~Next Day, A day before engagement~~~~~'

The preparations were on full swing and to the utmost disbelief of Maanvi Virat was helping enthusiastically in these preparations but one thing she noticed that every time angad and she were alone or tried to talk he came with some excuse of leaving the place for decorations, or being called by mom or angad's dad.

All this was making Making maanvi suspicious about Virat's behaviour, She also listened Virat talking to Madan saying that right now Maanvi has only completed her first semester and is in middle of her second one and this relationship thingy will make her distracted to which angad came as a savior saying he is not like those guys who burden there spouse and cut their wings on the name of responsibility! He would never let their relation hamper Maanvi's career as he also understands that she is too young and have some dreams and a life and identity of her.

Listening this Virat's anger knew no bound and before he could explode he keeping straight face excused himself for checking the arrangements! Here madan was proud of his choice and Maanvi was at some relief that even though she loves virat and there is no doubt about it but if Angad is her life partner she wont be disappointed.

It was after lunch when Maanvi was going to her room when she heard Virat talking to her mom

Virat: oh Aunty don't think too much about people!!! Arrangements are too good! If you will think about people so much then this engagement wont take place!Kehene ko to log ye bhi keh sakte h k badi behen abhi ghar mein h and choti is getting married!!!

This catches Pinky's attention and made her thoughtful whereas maanvi's anger rose like anything. She was going to reply but Shivani handled saying to Pinky "Oh dii!!! Don't worry!! Logo ka to kaam h kehna!!! Do you think Taani would like k uski wajeh se uski Maanu k haath se itne achcha ladka chala jaye! Never nor do we! So leave all these things and concentrate on mannu's engagement."

This made maanvi smile and relaxed but looking at Virat her anger again brewed up and she decided to talk to him!

She many a times tried to talk to him after this but he always escaped by some or the other way but Maanvi was hell bent in talking to him so she continued to look for the right time and she got so after dinner .

It was after dinner and Maanvi barged into Virat's room angrily and snapped on to Virat:

Maanvi: What the hell are u trying to do?...(angrily)
Virat (eating apple and acting surprised): What?????? batao ab kya kar diya maine? What I have done now?...
Maanvi: Dont try to act smart Virat!!! I know what r u trying to do../...
Virat*** sarcastic Laugh***: To jab u know what am I trying to do than y r u asking...(teasing land sarcastic laugh)

Maanvi: Look Mr Vadhera don't try to act smart ok and whatever you do I am getting engaged tomorrow and will be married soon so its better u stop playing these childish games .

Saying this she moved out of his room leaving behind an angry and frustrated Virat.

Virat Was getting very much frustrated with every passing minute and adding to this was his anger which was increasing at supersonic speed looking at all the laughing,teasing and dragging going around

Seeing maanvi smiling in all this was adding to his anger as his one part was saying that what he had seen in the eyes of Maanvi was not a lie and she too feels for him but then what is he seeing now?was that an illusion or this is a reality???? All this was haunting him and with this the entire day passed and by the evening Virat's anger and frustration was ready to explode. He has been moving around shouting even for minute mistakes on everyone ! Where everyone was looking this as an over excitement of a friend on other friend's engagement,Vanshika knew that something is bothering her son and she decided she will talk to him today! After engagement.

Here maanvi completely dressed as an angel was standing on the terrace looking at the sky as if she was asking for some unanswered question. Suddenly she she felt a hand on her shoulder and she moved with jerk thinking of it being Virat but it was Angad.

Angad : Hey maanvi are u all right?

Maanvi:Ya angad? Mjhe kya hoga?***not meeting his eyes***

Angad***making her face him***: Look at me maanvi!!! I am your friend first then anything else!!! Are u happy with this relation!!! I hope u are not doing it under any pressure!!!

Maanvi ***Moving away***: Yes ofcourse! Why shouldn't I? and what are you doing here !!! we must go!!! Everybody will be waiting for us!!!!

And she started moving away towards the stairs! When she suddenly heard Angad saying "I heard everything that day"

Maanvi stopped in her tracks,

Maanvi ***nervously***: Which day? Whaa...Whattt have u heard?????

Angad ***Moving Towards her***:That day on farewll I heard your convo with Virat!!! I just went to get some juice for taani and thats as when heard u two and even after that Virat barged into me and asked me ,or you can say. threatened me to stay away from u! I wanted to tell u that day only but had to leave before we can talk.

Listening this Maanvi's eyes starts welling up and she threw herself in his arms! She wanted to cry !! Cry her heart out sharing what she is going through!!! Sharing what pain she is experiencing!!!she cried and cried and cried and poured her heart out to Angad and he too was listening patiently to her letting her get her all sorrows out today..

Maanvi:Am I that bad Angad!!! I am not hurting anyone!!! I am just trying to reduce the complexity of what is happening.

Angad: Oh maanvi u are not at all bad! U are an angel! And you deserve all love and affection and it really needs a big heart to do what u r doing!!!

Maanvi was unknowingly drawn Angad's words!! His words were so soothing and were acting as an healer to her pain!

She was looking into his eyes getting attracted to something unknown which was making her lose her senses and yes she wasn't in her senses!Here Angad's condition was no different!!! He had always liked Maanvi but only as a person and today listening to her her respect in his eyes were increased thousand folds. And in this weak moment of pain,love ,hurt,likes and respect for a moment they both forgot everything! None of them remembered who made the first move!!! The thing they remember were the feel of each others lips which was acting as an ointment specially for maanvi! Angad was also in his own world and was feeling maanvi!! Maanvi was getting more and more driven in this emotion and in this spur of moment she deepened the kiss tasting his soothing luscious lips and this was what what which brought Angad to the real world! And making him aware of Maanvi's Vulnerable state . He needed to stop her before she does something in her this state for which she regrets in future!! He pushed maanvi gently away from him making her realise what she was doing. Realizing what happened a few minutes back she was numb and shocked! She was not able to speak and looking at her this state was making angad more guilty!

Maanvi: I...I ...I am soryyy... Angad...

Angad: No Maanvi... Relax... It was not your fault !!! I was a weak moment maanvi... I shouldn't have let this happen knowing your state of mind... I am sorry maanvi...Dont blame yourself...

Maanvi: No... noo...noo Angad its me!!! Its always me...

And with this she ran from there...

But these two failed to notice a pair of eyes watching them!!! Yes It was Virat who came there searching for maanvi! But what he saw was made him an untamed tiger and his anger knew no bounds! He saw them kissing !!! it was enough for him to broke him into parts but no he was not that weak! Unable to bear all this he went away from there !!! he didn't heared there full convo but what he saw after that he wasn't interested in knowing other things!!!

Here maanvi was in tears in her room!!! Suddenly she felt herself pinned to the wall and yes from the touch she can say it was Virat and in no time he was kissing her vigourously taking out all his frustration and anger on her!! He want to erase all the touch which anagd has made on her!!! He was biting her lips senselessly making her groan in pain.

Virat***angry and teary eyed***: Its hurting na maanvi!!!! It was hurting me too when u were kissing that Angad!!!

Maanvi was numb and unable to react!!!

Virat: He touched u here too na???????***touching her collarbone*** and he bit her there!!!

Maanvi graned in pain and came out of her trance! She pushed him away and screamed on top of her voice.

Maanvi: Yes I kissed him!! I kissed my to be fiance!!! And my future husband!!! Do you have any problem with that!!! He can do anything with me!!! He is my to be fiance and we are getting engaged today! So its not your business what we do together !!! We can hug...We can kiss...He can even take me to his bed...

And this was it for Virat his anger knew no bounds
Virat (angrily) *** his eyes were completely raged red in anger and he was literally fuming and pulled Maanvi's hair into fist tightly***:Shhh!!!! Don't dare to speak another word or then I wont be responsible for your state!!! I am telling this to u first and last time Maanvi dont try my patience and ...and ... and...dont EVER try to ACT Smart with me... and get this into your head "U r NOT Getting ENGAGED to THAT ANGAD"

He moved out of her room leaving behind a shocked, shattered and tearful Maanvi behind!!

Here Anagd and family memebers were waiting for maanvi and angad some how was feeling that something disastrous going to happen as he saw Virat coming out of maanvi's room but as he was amongst guest he cannot leave to see that whether she was alrigth or not and here after coming from her room Virat was continously drinking!!! He tought its better to postpone this engagement for the time being and was going to talk to his dad but suddenly thay saw Maanvi coming downstairs for the ceremony!

For maanvi it took he some time to gather herself and compose from whatever happened in last few hours!! She cannt let herself weaken at this juncture so she decided and proceeded for the ceremony!!! Her eyes were drifting from Virat to Angad and Angad to Virat!!! One was threatening for some mishappening and other asking for her well being! She made her way to the stage and Angad through eyes asked for well being of maanvi to which Maanvi reciprocated with smile!!!

This didn't go unnoticed by Virat and gulping his last shot he started moving to the stage!! I between all hustle and bustle none of the family members noticed his movement but Vanshika did!!! And she started moving towards Virat to stop him from creating any scene as he was Visibly drunk!!!

As soon as the Pandit asked for the bride and groom toexchange the rings for engagement, Angad silently asked for maanvi's permission and she obliged!

As he was going to make maanvi wear the ring they heard Virats Voice

Virat: Woaaah...someone is getting engaged!!!

Suddenly vanshika came to balance her stumling son

Vanshika: Beta u r drunk!!!! Come on lets go and take some rest!!!

Virat: Ohh momm!!! I havent been in soo much sense before!!! I need to enjoy!!! Maanuu is getting engaged!!!!

Maanvi was hell shocked, numb and unable to react!Even Angad was.

Virat: My dear buddy Angad!!! I have warned u so many times to stay away from me and my family but you never did!! Now telll me who will be responsible for your heartbreak!!!...

Angad***shocked***: heartbreak!!!>?????????

Virat: Yes don't you know angad!!! Maanvi is already engaed!!***snatching ring fromAngad's hand***

Angad**in disbelief and shock*** :what????***looking at maanvi***

Virat***again taking back maanvi's left hand and caressing her ring finger making her uncomfortable**** : No I would really like to tell u !!! She is engaged to me

And saying this he slid that ring in maanvi's hand making every one shocked and numb!

Maanvi was too shocked to react and at the same time he made her do the same with him!!!!!!! And after this he passed out!!

Maanvi and all other people at the hall were shocked with the turn of events!Virat and maanvi were now officially engaged!
