ki khayal dimaag me aate hi usse Ram ka khayal bhi aa jata hain and without
knowing her lips curled into a smile.
While coming back from work she was very happy, aaj woh ghar thoda jaldi aayi hain, though work pressure was there still aaj usse aur achha nahi laga and she came back. She was about to go to freshn up when her door bell rang, she came and opened it and stood still. Neha along with Vikram, Krishnaji and dadi were standing at the door. For some moments Priya couldn't believe in her eyes and was also rooted, she came back to her senses when Neha said,
Neha " can we come in?
Priya now become embarrassed and let them come in. After everyone seated, Priya took Dadi and Krishnaji's blessings and kept standing. All kept silent for sometime as no one knew how to start the conversation, toh tabhi dadi asked Priya
Dadi " yahaan aa puttar, mere paas beyth.
Priya came and sit beside Dadi and Krishnaji.
Krishnaji " Priya, beta hum yahan tumse maafi mangne aaye hain, mere bte ne jo kiya usse hum sab bohot sharminda hain.
Dadi " puttar main tujhse apne Golu ki taraf se maafi maangti hoon...
Priya clasp Dadi's hand in her and said, plz aap aisa mat boliye, turning around to Krishnaji and said, plz aap, maafi mat mangiye, bado ka haath sirf chhoto ke upar ashirwaad ke liye uthta hain na ki unke samne maafi mangne ke liye joda jata hain, saying this she again took blessings from both.
Krishnaji " Ram ko pata bhi nahi hain ke usne kya khoya hain, Priya main sachh me bohot sharminda hoon beta, main bhi ek aurat hoon aur samajhti hoon aisa karna tumhare liye kitna mushkil hua hoga, am really sorry beta.

Dadi " jeeundi reh puttar, sada khush reh.
Ab sab bohot khush hain, sab Priya se baat kar rahe the, Neha ne toh yahan tak keh diya ke peechli baar jab woh aayi thi toh Priya ne badiya sa cake khilaya tha usse aur Vikram ko aur sab balcony me beythe the, toh yeh baat sunnke dadi ne kahan ke unhe bhi ghar dekhna hain, toh Priya ne kahan ke Neha unlogon ko ghar dikhayegi tab tak woh chai ka arrangement karti hain, toh sab isi bahane Neha ke sath ghar dekhne me masroof ho gaye aur sab ko Priya ke ghar ka balcony bohot pasand aya, after sometime all came to the drawing room and Priya came with tea with some snacks.
Dadi " aaja puttar mere paas aake beyth.
Priya kept the cup on the tea table and came and sat besdide dadi.
Dadi " puttar hum sab tujhse kuch mangne aaye hain?
Krishnaji " Priya beta, Amritsar me maine tumhe apne bahu ke roop me sweekar kiya tha, jab Ram ne bataya ke tum usse shaadi nahi karna chahti ho, tab mujhe yakeen nahi hua tha, par tab bhi mujhe laga tha Ram ke liye tum hi layak ho aur aaj bhi mujhe yehi lagta hain...beta main apne Ram ke liye tumhe mangne aayi hoon, mere Ram ke liye tumse behtar jeevan saathi aur ho hi nahi sakti, main tumhe Kapoor khandan ki badi bahu ke roop me chahti hoon.
Dadi " na mat bolna puttar, tu hi hain jo mere Golu ko sambhal sakti hain, main janti hoon usne tujhe bohot dukh diye hain par phir bhi...
Neha " dekho Priya main janti hoon yeh bohot bada faisla hain tumhare liye par hum sab chahte hain ke tum aur fatty ek ho jao.
Vikram " Priya, Ram ne jo kuch bhi kiya hain main usse defend nahi karunga, haan par itna keh sakta hoon ke woh dil ka bura nahi hain, aur usse yeh ehsaas bhi hain ke jo woh tumhare saath kiya hain woh galat hain.
Priya was just listening to all of them hanging her head down.
Dadi " kuch toh bol puttar.
Priya looked up and said, dadi, auntyji, main janti hoon aap sab mujhe bohot pyaar karte hain shayad isi liye aap sab yahan tak aa gaye mujhse milne ke liye, maafi mangne ke liye, par main yeh shaadi nahi kar sakti, am really sorry.
Neha " main samajhti hoon Priya, jo tumhare dil ki halaat hain aur jo kuch bhi fatty ne kiya uske baad...
Priya " plz Neha, am really sorry.
Sab bohot umeed leke aaye the, par kahin na kahin mann me yeh doubt bhi tha ki kya Priya mann jayegi? Every one felt the pain in her eyes and didn't say anything, they didn't have any words to pursuade her. All came back to Neha's house and were sitting in the hall after dinner. Every one was quiet, kisi ke pas bhi bolne ke liye kuch tha nahi.
Vikram " mujhe lagta hain humein aur ek baar Priya se baat karni chahiye
Dadi " mujhe pata hain puttar woh nahi manegi
Neha " Vikram, dadi sahi keh rahi hain, woh bohot hurt huyi hain, woh dikhati nahi hain par uski aankhon me dikhta hain, fatty ne bohot galat kiya hain.
Krishanji sighed heavily and said, yeh Ram ne kya kar diya, uski wajah se ek ladki ki zindagi kharab ho gayi, mere parwaarish me kahan galati ho gayi ke usne aisa kiya, saying this she started shedding tears, Neha came to her and start consoling her.
Vikram " maa main janta hoon ke Ram ne jo kiya hain woh bohot galat kiya hain par ab woh sachh me guilt feel karta hain uss baat se.

Vikram " Neha, meri baat toh suno tum yaar...
Neha " stop defending your friend Vikram aur waise bhi tum mard kabhi nahi samjhoge yeh baat, so just stop it.
Dadi " mujhe lagta hain ab ek hi tareeka hain Priya se haan bulwane ki, lekin usse pehele mujhe Golu se baat karni hain aur usse manana hain ke woh Priya se shaadi ke liye haan kar de, aur agar nahin mana toh, saying this Dadi gave a cunning and devilish smile to all of them...
Ram came back from Bangalore, the conference and meeting both were successful, he was very happy, but his happiness came into a hault when he entered Kapoor Mansion. He saw every one was looking tensed and Neha was present there.
Ram " arre aap sab itne chhup kyun hain?
Natasha came running and said, bhai, dadi ko ek mild attack hua hain...hearing this he rushed to dadi's room where doctor's along with Krishnaji and Vikram were present.
Doctor Vinay Sinha is the family physician of Kapoors, infact Amarnath and Vinay became friends after Amarnath came to Mumbai. While doctor was checking dadi, Ram came and sits beside dadi on the bed and kept looking at her longingly, he started caressing her hair.
Ram " doctor uncle is everything alright?, dadi kaisi hain ab?
Dr. Vinay " Ram, ammaji (Vinay addressed dadi as "ammaji" as she was his friend's mother) ko ek mild attack hua hain, lagta hain kuch stress hain unke mann me, filhaal 72 hours thoda crucial hain kyunki phir se attack ho sakta hain, though maine saare precautions le liye hain phir bhi 72 ghante bohot crucial hain, haan aur ek baad dhyaan rakhna unhe koi bhi stress na ho, khayal rakhna koi excitement na ho.
Ram " jee, main dhyan rakhunga inka.
Doctor Vinay smiled and patted his shoulder and came out of the room along with Vikram. Ram continued to caress her hair when dadi opened her eyes,
Dadi " Golu, tu aa gaya
Ram " aap abhi kuch mat boliye, bas aram kijiye
Dadi " oye nahi Golu, ab mujhe jaane de, tere babuji aur dadaji ke paas, bohot reh liya yahan ab main unn logon ke paas jana chahti hoon.
Ram " yeh kya bol rahi hain aap Dadi, abhi toh aapko aur jeena hain mere saath, mere liye.
Dadi " aur main jee ke karanga kya?, tune toh mujhe pardadi banne ka sukh bhi nahi diya...jab tere dadaji ke paas jaungi toh kya muh dikhayungi unhe, ke unka pota, iss khandaan ka bada beta usne iss khanadaan ko ek waaris bhi nahi diya, saying this she starts to weep.
Jab yeh sab baat ho rahi thi toh baki sab yaani Krishanji, Neha, Natasha, Rishabh aur Vikram sab dadi ke kamre ki darwaaze ke bahar khare the aur dadi ka natak dekh rahe the. Yes this was dadi's plan to persuade Ram to get married.
On the other hand Ram was sitting holding dadi's hand and bending his head down.
Dadi " meri ek baat manega puttar?, meri aakhri khwaahish puri kar de beta
Ram " dadi, plz aap aisa mat boliye
Dadi " mere khatir beta, tu shaadi karle, kam se kam mujhe yeh tassalli toh rahegi ke mere Golu ne zindagi me settle toh kar liya, maan ja beta, saying this she kept her palm on his hand and pressed.
Now Krishnaji entered the scene,
Krishnaji " dekh Ram, tu kab tak yun akela rahega, aaj hum sab hain tere saath, kal hum nahin rahenge phir...
Ram " aap sab jante ho maa, ke mujhe nahi shaadi karni, phir bhi...
Dadi " kya mere liye tu itna bhi nahi kar sakta?yeh aakhri ichha hain meri puttar, maan ja meri gal, karle tu shaadi
Ram now was trapped in emotional web, for some moments he kept silence then unwillingly said,
Ram " theek hain main shaadi karne ke liye taiyyar hoon.
Upon hearing this dadi gave a big smile to Ram and took his hands in her palm and kissed them, Krishnaji came and kissed his forehead and said, thank you beta, on the other hand Natasha and Rishabh hi-fived each other and Vikram and Neha hugged.
Ram " ab toh aap khush hain na dadi, bas ab koi stress nahi, abhi aap aram karo, saying this he came out from her room.
After dinner everyone retires to their room, Ram came to dadi's room and saw she is in deep slumber and the nurse assured him that she is keeping fine, Ram stared at her for some moments, sighed and came back to his room. He came and sit on his favourite chair resting his head on head rest. He was thinking about dadi's wish, finally he had to surrender, till now he never ever dreamt of getting married, in fact, he doesn't believe in the instituition of marriage neither believes in love, for him girls are only for enjoying, he believes jab shaadi ke baad bhi wahi sab karna hain jo shaadi se peheli kiya jaye then what's the use of getting in relationships!, life is about to enjoy and live fullest so just live it. He don't want to get married but he has no choice left in front of him, he can't let his dadi suffer like this, he can do anything for her. He closed his eyes and flashes of smiling Priya came in front of him, he opened his eyes immediately. His mind was occupied with Priya and her memories along with that her bond with Meethi, anjane me hi sahi Ram's lips curled into a smile thinking about her.
The next 2 days was full of tension for Ram but on the third day evening when Doctor Vinay announced that dadi is keeping fine, her vital signs are showing normal then Ram sighed a sigh of respite. He couldn't make out about the whole drama, in fact Doctor Sinha was also involved in this.
Ab bari hain Priya se haan bulwane ki, toh dadi again asked everyone to come in her room. Krishnaji was already present there. Natasha and Rishabh have come back from office, today is Friday, Vikram and Neha are still in Mumbai, Ram hasn't come back yet, toh sab milke plan bana rahe hain ke kaise Ram aur Priya ko shaadi ke bandhan me baandha jaaye. Toh tabhi Ram wapas aata hain aur aake dadi ke kamre me chala jata hain, dadi ab theek hain, doctors ne bhi kahan hain ke though she is out of danger par unke liye koi bhi stress ya excitement jaan leva saabit ho sakti hain...Ram came and sit beside dadi on her bed.
Dadi " Golu, main soch rahi thi, jab tune shaadi ke liye haan kar hi diya hain toh jaldi se yeh ho jana chahiye, pata nahi kab mera bulawa aa jaye...
Ram " dadi aap kyun aise soch rahi hain, aap ko kuch nahi hoga, aap ab aur soh saal jeeyengi
Dadi " bas puttar tujhe settle karte huye dekh lu, phir koi gal nahi.
Krishnaji " beeji, mujhe lagta hain ki ab Ram ke liye humein ladki dekhna shuru kar deni chahiye.
Ram was not at all liking this, he wasn't prepared mentally, bas dadi ko khush karne ke liye usne hami bhari hain, but didn't said anything.
Dadi " Krishna, uski koi zaarorat nahi hain, maine ladki dekhi huyi hain.
Everyone was amazed and surprised how dadi was acting the scene.
Krishnaji " kaun hain beeji?
Dadi " tum sab bhi usse pehchhante ho.
Natasha " dadi bolo na, kaun hain?
Dadi " Priya Sharma
Upon hearing Priya's name, Ram looked at dadi with surprise.
Krishnaji " beeji yeh aap kya bol rahi hain, aap jante hain na ke woh...
Dadi " main janti hoon Krishna, par mujhe aaj bhi lagta hain ki Priya hi mere Golu ke liye sabse behtar choice hain, main aur kuch nahi janti, iss ghar me agar Golu ki patni ayegi toh woh Priya hi hogi.
Ram was still in shock, he can't believe that dadi has said such, while Ram was in his thoughts everyone was staring at Ram for his reactions.
Dadi " Golu, tu layega na Priya ko iss ghar ki bahu banake?
Ram " dadi, aap?...
Dadi " mera mann keh raha hain ke Priya hi hain jo iss ghar ko sawaar sakti hain, mera yakeen kar puttar wohi teri zindagi me khushiyan bann ke ayegi.
Ram " mujhe sochne ka thoda waqt chahiye aur waise bhi mujhe usse baat karni paregi.
Neha " fatty tu bole toh main baat karu usse, said this in teasingly.
Ram " nahi uski zaroorat nahi hain, main baat karlunga, saying this he came to his room.
In dadi's room everyone was rejoicing, in fact Natasha ne toh dadi ko kaas karke ek hug kiya aur kiss bhi kar diya unke cheeks pe, everyone was very happy.
Neha " dadi, aapko maan gaye, sach me kya acting kiya aapne!
Dadi " mera mann keh raha hain, iss baar Priya na nahi keh payegi
Krishnaji " aap ki baat sach ho jaye beeji, babaji se main yehi dua mangti hoon.
Ram was in his room, in his thoughts, yeh ho kya raha hain mere saath?, ab main dadi ko kaise batayu ke maine kya kiya hain Priya ke saath aur woh kyun chali gayi?, kahin Neha ne toh sab kuch...,nahi nahi Neha aisa nahi karegi, par woh toh sab kuch janti hain phir bhi usne bhi kuch nahi kahan, ab main kya karu?, main kaise Priya ko...,Priya ka khayal aate hi Ram ko uski saari yaadein aa jati hain, uski smile, Amritsar me uska sabke sath ghul milke rehna, uska alharpan, unn dono ka khet pe jana, ek saath babaji ke darshan karna, shagun ka kangaan aur phir woh raat, Ram aur kuch soch na nahi chahta hain, he started pacing up and down in his room, na jaane kyun usse bhi lagta hain ke ek Priya hi hain jo usse samajh payegi, par phir yeh khayal bhi aa raha hain ke ek baar usne Priya ki dil ko dukhaya hain phir aisa nahin karna chahta hain, uske liye shaadi koi mayine nahi rakhti hain, lekin dusri aur jab bhi Priya ke bare me sochta hain tok ek ajeeb sa sukoon mehsoos karta hain apne andar, Ram ko kuch samajh nahi aa raha tha ke woh kya kare, toh yehi sochte sochte uski aankh lag gayi aur subah ho gayi.
Next day, Saturday, Natasha and Rishabh along with Neha and Vikram were on breakfast table. Dadi also joined them. Bansi kaka was serving paratha to them.
Krishnaji " bansi, Ram ko zaraa bula ke laiyye, abhi tak aaya nahi
Bansi kaka " malkin, chhote malik toh subah subah hi nikal gaye hain
Dadi " itni subah kahan gaya hain?

Rishabh " chalo, toh finally bhai raazi ho hi gaye hain, dadi, mujhe lagta hain ab humein shaadi ki arrangement kar leni chahiye.
On the other hand, Ram came to Rajat's house and he said everything to Shruthi and Rajat, the main motive behind this was how to approach Priya, though Ram didn't disclose the actual thing which happened between him and Priya and the letter part of Priya.
Rajat " toh tune kya socha hain?
Shruthi " sorry Mr. Kapoor, par mujhe nahi lagta hain Priya maanegi
Ram " mujhe kuch samajh me nahi aa raha hain, main kaise usse approach karu?
Rajat " kya tu sach me shadi karna chahta hain woh bhi Priya se?
Ram " dekh Rajat mere samne aur koi option nahi hain, dadi chahti hain ke main usse shaadi karu aur phir woh mere gharwalon ki pasand bhi hain...
Rajat " jab tune faisla kar hi liya hain toh theek hain, par iss bare me baat toh tujhe hi Priya se karni paregi.
Ram listened to them but didn't said anything...That day he was in Hotel. After 10 days Priya saw Ram in the Hotel. Priya was busy in her work and Ram was also going through some important files, but he wanted to talk to Priya. It was almost lunch time when someone came and said that Ram was calling her. Priya came to Ram's room,
Priya " may I come in?
Ram " come in Priya, have a seat.

Ram came and sit in front of her chair and started, Priya, dadi ko ek mild attack aya tha kuch din pehele, yeh sunnte hi Priya ki face pe reactions aa gaya, Ram saw that but he continued, lekin ab woh theek hain, doctor ne kahan hain ki koi bhi stress unke liye jaan leva sabit ho sakti hain...after some pause he again started, dadi ne mujhse kuch manga hain, woh chahti hain ke tum Kapoor khandan ki bahu bannke uss ghar me aao, woh chahthi hain hum dono shaadi ke bandhan me bandh jaye, saying this he again looked at Priya and saw she is just listening to him, Ram again said, main janta hoon Priya, jo kuch bhi hua hain hum dono ke beech me uske baad tum...par please Priya dadi ke khatir...main apni dadi ko aise nahi dekh sakta...

Ram " main janta hoon Priya ke maine tumhe bohot hurt kiya hain, aur uss baat ke liye tum mujhe kabhi maaf nahi karogi, main tumhe sirf request kar sakta hoon, main apne dadi ko taqleef me nahin dekhna chahta hoon, isi liye...
Priya looked at Ram and saw his feelings for dadi in his eyes, he was really feeling guilty and also there was a helplessness in his eyes, Priya shifted her gaze and looked otherwise.
