Yes, Raghu's mother was really sick and Raghu was a small kid at that time. He went and pleaded to all their friends and relatives. Everyone refused to help. He then after rejection stole someone's purse. Unfortunately, he got caught stealing for the first time in his life. He was put in jail. He pleaded the officer to let him off and that his mother was sick and he needed money, but no one listened. The next day when they let him out of jail ...he reached home to find his mother dead. She had passed away the night he was incarcerated.
