In management, there is a concept called market testing. The same is used quite a lot in film industries these days. Intention is to have some initial sketch of storyline etc prepared and narrated / shown it to select audience and gaze their recation / interest in terms of the same being liked or not. If it does not invoke interest, the story is kept aside. Similarly in case of "Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobara" trailer was released on youtube and when it did not invoked any interest, director has to change the trailer for the larger audience. Many such things are done for testing of viewership.
My view is this new promo of ZOYAAN etc is nothing but this. As Mishti has stated that PHs have not decided about ZOYAAN track. The promo / initial pics etc seems to be aimed at understanding TRP-worthiness of the ZOYAAN at this stage of the QH storyline. Remember GUL has clearly stated that TRP is everything. If ZOYAAN track is disliked strongly in the market testing stage, it may not happen at all. So pls bash ZOYAAN as much as you can, otherwise you all would be responsible for the story which has ZOYAAN.
