It is not like she is some one like Anandi or Ganga she is some one who fights her own battles and is not really interested in anything else.

People do see Gehna as a fire brand but that was only when she was fighting for herself and may be she raised her voice against Jagya in support of Anandi but that was the only thing she has done for others rest of the time she is all about her husband her children and of course family members.

Even today she supports Ganga not because she thinks it is the right thing to do but Ganga helped her.

So I don't think her character has changed.

As for P's exit

The character of Anandi was tweaked to make P fit into the role played by Avika.

Because P could portray some aspects of Anandi better while in some aspects she couldn't.

So they have down played some aspects of the charcter and tried to give some explanations for the changed characterisation.

They did the same thing now too.

I don't think the character has been down graded in any way.

As for Anjum - I think she said many times that she is going to quit after marriage.

I think CVs have made it clear that Jagya Gauri relationship is going to break from the day the relationship came into existence.

Gauri's character lost it's sting after Jagya left Gauri for Anandi and Anandi got Shiv in her life and I don't think there will be much left for her even if she comes back.I think her come back is required only for a proper closure of the character.
