I agree with you guys, and I also hope that Rubel and/or Sheela find out about Latika's abortion by themselves rather than Pankhuri or Adi. Or even Kaira or Avantika or someone else being the one who finds out about it might be ok but whoever it is, I hope they get some proof from the hospital that can't be questioned, and it should be done at least right in front of Rubel or Sheela.
I don't like Rubel's character in general, but I do like him sometimes when he does certain things. I did like the way that he was shown as being sad about the loss of his unborn child. The growth in his character, from not caring about the baby and using it as a cash-cow to unknowingly becoming attached to the baby as an actual person was really nice. This shows there is scope for much improvement in Rubel's character!
Given his attachment to the baby and his grief over its death, I think we will have a HUGE explosion when he finds out that Latika had an abortion and pretended to have a miscarriage. I am looking forward to this explosion! Sheela's reaction will also be very interesting, as I'm still not sure how attached she had become (remember that she had initially told Latika to have an abortion, before Latika and Rubel convinced her that they could use the baby to get property!) Latika's mother's reaction would also be interesting!
