To quote my dear friend Sangita, today's scene between Jai and Bani was the "mother of all scenes." Never have I seen such intensity portrayed only with the eyes and for that, I must applaud the performance of Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai. Genuinely, I'm not being biased here because I'm a J&B despo. but I really felt that they were flawless in portraying the characters pain coupled with longing and despair. Undoubtably, they have lived up to the "Jodi Award" (touchwood)

What makes Jai and Bani come alive for us?? What is it about them together that makes us feel for them?? What is it about the characters of Jai and Bani that seem so real??? At the risk of speculating, for me it's Ram and Prachi who infuse life into these two characters thereby conveying a certain nakedness and vulnerability through their eyes which is extremely powerful and tremendously endearing in that one feels like one knows the two of them closely and is sometimes intruding. I really am dumbfounded by the emotions conveyed with their eyes today. Friday's episode was indeed "child's play" whereas today's was the "mother of all scenes." Damm good!!

Am I the only one who felt and noticed an unusual amount of understanding between the two (the characters and the actors)???

Hiya Rani
I can join in your discussion at the beginning instead of 20 pages too late....yaaaaay 😆 😆 😆
And you are so right the chemistry between J-B was amazing today. A treat for all J-B despos and a perfect performance by Ram and Prachi. The comfort level between the two is clearly evident now more than ever..in fact when KS first started Prachi was obviously a raw newcomer and totally in awe of RK. But they match up as equals now. RK's always been a wonderful performer but the manner in which Prachi has matured as an actor is truly commendable. They make J-B come alive for us each day and I honestly cannot recall ever being this dazzled by any other on-screen couple. 😳 😊
Fantastic stuff!!
cheers

Rani, don't forget June 19th like clue said. That was the mother of all for me but this was very good too. The scene has come at a juncture of two hearts one hurt another hurting for being the cause of the hurt. One who seeks forgiveness and one who wishes she could forgive. Both saying I live for you only. Now with nothing to hide, they carry their heart on their sleeves and that is what the eyes portray. They have bared their soul through their eyes. This is the JB magic.
Earlier JB scenes post ONS always carried with it the taint of the ONS and guilt on Jai's part. That was why we felt that those JB scenes were missing an essential element and the feeling of love and passion was just not coming through.
Now that we can see the difference between then and now it only goes to show how well RK and PD have managed to put across the JB love.
Kudos to RK and PD. Love their performances and the energy they put into it. They respect their fans and audience and do their best and we the fans and audience applaud them for their fine performance which is an utter delight to our senses. 👏 👏

I could not have said it better😊 They are so good are speaking and understanding just with their eyes. They were born to act as Jai and Bani. Jai is a seasoned actor, but look out for Prachi in a few years, she will be a top actor

Rani,
I could go on forever&ever&ever regarding these two fine talented
brilliant actors. The" mother of all scenes" was filled with so much
emotion, not only in their eyes but in their gestures as well. JW holding
unto Bani's hand and Bani wanting to release her hand from his grip-
wow-loved it -to me it described all the feelings that JW has/had and will
ever have for his wife, Bani Walia. The eyes are a different matter
altogether, it seemed we were intruding in their private moment. Oval,
said it right that this is the first post ONS-post guilt scene with them
together and it is a truly emotinally naked scene.
Don't these two
excellent and talented actors deserve a storyline without the R 🤢 and
her tadpole? No JPB track with JP baby--no..no 😡

Just how many "Mother of all Scenes" would our beloved jodi give us I wonder. Can't have enuff. Poor Vakil babu does not stand a chance.

Oval hit the bull's eye, it is the first one on one since the ONS was out, guilt and hurt may be there, but at least they are able to convey their feelinsg without any untruths between them.

Bavie,

I'd love it if you could do some research/survey on this for me. 😉😆 This could be another topic in which you seek out to decode.

If it were up to me, the actors would indeed need couseling after I was finished with directing the show (or some of our fantabulous fanfic writers)

Souldn't have put i more aptly!!!

Without RK and PD there would be no JB!!!

The life they infuse in these two characters is unlike any other television supercouple I have seen whether it be American or Indian Television!!!

The addiction to KS started the moment JB paired up as a couple in kS!!!

the intensity of their chemistry was enough to rope me in and have me addicted to them and for them despite the crappy storylines being dished out especially with Rep**** ONS track!!!

the only thing I would love to see (jus like everyone else) is a repeat of June 19th which was THE "mother of all romantic scenes" and would love it if Sandip Sikand came back as creative head and Brijmohan as the dialogues person!!!

I just hope they do not drag the ONS further and JB are brought back together again!!!!

One can always hope and Prachi did mention in the interview tha she misses working with RAM!!!!

Wonder how Ram feels!!!

BTW, saw the episode where Pushkar wins against Sahil---Is it me or what Pushkar seemed to smile like atotal fool and a slight blush to when they show him looking at Bani!!! Apparently Naman seems smitten with Prachi!!!LOL !!! Wonder how she feels???????

Anyway, there is no couple who has the chemistry that RK and pD do ---I think they bring out the best in each other and as per PD RK has helped her develop into the fine actress she has become!!!!
