So much has been written in media about the cold war between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan .
Although the talk of cold war between the two stars had been going on for more than six months now, rumour mills found new grist to grind when SRK took over KBC mantle from Amitabh recently.
In an interview, Shah Rukh even said that comparisons between him and Big B were not possible. Quoting a Ghalib couplet, SRK said: "Woh uss zamaane ke the, Hum iss zamaane ke hain" (He belonged to old times, I belong to this time). Shah Rukh also added: "I am hip and sexy".
And when Big B did not see the SRK-hosted KBC for its first week in the running, rumours of cold war got a new lease of life.
But now, Mr. Bachchan has unequivocally denied any friction or 'cold war' with SRK in an interview to a news channel.
Speaking to Times Now, Big B said the so-called "cold war" was created by that section of media which is always looking for some catchy headline to sell itself.
Responding to SRK's remarks about Bachchan's age, Big B said: "SRK is absolutely right. He is young, I am old. He is hip and sexy, I'm not."
Bachchan also said that comparing him with SRK was possible only when the latter reaches sixty years of age.
