At the 1200 episode celebration party of Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the leading actress of the daily, Hina Khan (popular as Akshara), changed her attire thrice, much to the surprise of one and all. Hina aka Akshara looked quite a hot chic when she arrived at the celebration party dressed in a knee-length, sleevless, black and white tunic. While those present at the success bash were pleasantly surprised to witness this telly bahu's not-so-gharelu avatar, one of the members of the show's marketing team, didn't accept her look.
He objected to Akshara's short western dress and forced her to change into a traditional attire - much like her onscreen character in the show Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Hina was visibly upset with the issue raised by the show's marketing team right in the midst of the celebrations, and initially, refused to change her dress.
But later, following repetitive objections by the team, she changed into a white anarkali suit, and appeared as Akshara (her screen name) for the cake cutting ceremony. Akshara and Naitik (Karan Mehra) -- who play husband and wife in the daily soap -- also jived to a romantic number to celebrate the huge success of the show.
Producer Rajan Shahi arrived a little late at the bash. But his presence proved to be helpful to Hina.
