Never heard this version about Ravan .

As have heard from childhood stories about Ramayana , and have asked some people . Ravan could have lifted the Dhanush as he was powerful but as he was going near the dhanush , that time there was Aakashvani about his Lanka is burning and at the same time he left the place . This time first time , saw that Ravan was trying to lift the Dhanush .

Just enjoy the show many things in this show u might have not read or heard anywhere. It is mytho fiction. So just have a good time if u like the show. 😉

Yes..i have never heared about Lanka burning story.

Ravan had actually try to carry but could not.

Even i have heard that at the time of Ravan's failure...Sita was laughing as she could not control after Ravan's egoistic speaking about his biggerness but he was failed too.

So...watching Sita to laugh on hmself he decided to take revenge & that's why he had kidnaped her.😊

there are lots of variates in ramayan.
there is a story that sita was born in lanka. while doing shiv pooja mandothari finds a baby in the lotus. the priest say that this child is lanka's doom. if she sheds even a drop of tear it will destory this place. so mandothari finds a box puts the baby in it and sends it to sea. but the box keeps on returning so she picks up a piece of bone and places it in the box and set it off. this box with baby reaches mythila.
and i have seen a old tamil movie based on ravan as hero were he goes to the syamwar and gets defeated by ram there by instilling fear in his mind.

was talking to some one , who said there are many versions of Ramayana . It is said that real Sita was not kidnapped , it was her shadow . And about Ravan at sawamvar ,there are many stories about that too . i like to read the comments about more versions of the same incident . you learn and get to know so much about mythology from different POV
