I still did not see the point of protesting! Seriously morons! Why dont they protest for good things! Anyway, I hope it has indeed been resolved! Ekta has produced an amazing protrayal of JA so I hope she continues to stand strong against those *(beeps*)

apparently Ekta has agreed to change the name of the show and the character and not use the term rajput in her show...thus issue got resolved...

Yes, the Rajputs had problems with the name Jodha, that is certain to change. Our country is filled with such idiots. I have no respect left for the rajput community anymore.

Well, they protested with all their might when the movie came out as well. And the movie was banned in large parts of Rajasthan, haryana and so on. I, however, worry about the fact that the rajouts want the complete shutdown of the the show. I don't think a mere name-change will make them happy.
