After all Champaklal doesn't know English or French, so losing himself in an alien city isn't easy for him.
Tappu and his grandfather will re-unite at a prominent landmark of the city which is renowned for its iconic architecture. No, they will not meet at the Eiffel Tower which is the most-visited paid monument in the world but in front of the Paris Gate, the triumphal arch of which quite resembles the India Gate. Champak will then return to Mumbai with his grandson to celebrate Independence Day.
Amit told us, "It is a matter of great pride that the characters Tappu and Champaklal were chosen as brand ambassadors from India to promote Smurf 2. This just proves that our serial has won hearts all over the globe. Paris is a beautiful, romantic, passionate and cultural city. This is the first time that our show was shot overseas."
