If you are judging sujamal on moral grounds then yes obviously right now sujamal is paying for his deeds..but if you place yourself at his position your heart will become soften towards him for sure. he has lost his father at a tender age who was the king of amer and before he could declare sujamal his heir, he died.. And bharmal became the king..You know what the best thing doesn't need everyone's consent. Sujamal himself knows it very well that he is far better and more eligible for the throne than any of his cousins.. He had a belief that someday he would become the king and he prepared himself like a would be king from his childhood days indeed.. But unfortuntely his all dreams scattered when bhagwandas was declared as the heir..

I felt bad for him too but some how he himself is the reason for his today's state On the first hand he shouldn't have joined hands with Mughals..Agreed that he's deprived of his rights but what he did is no good either..
He's not bad at heart though

He acts on impulse. How does it make him a better ruler? As a king, one has to keep their emotions aside and then take decisions, just like Akbar did. Sujamal does the exact opposite.
