'Balika Vadhu' zooms up to number 2 on TRP chart

At a time when serials don't last for more than six months, 'Balika Vadhu' has just completed five years. And, the show, with a few twists, has managed to climb up to number 2 position on the charts with 3.9 TRP. 'Diya Aur Baati' continues to enjoy the top slot with 4.5 TRP.

Kapil, Jhalak top non-fiction showsComedy Nights With Kapil has become the number one show in the non-fiction space with a rating of 3.1. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is second with 2.6. DID Supermoms got a 2.3 TRP.

Chhanchhan dips Chhanchhan, which launched on March 25 amid much fanfare, couldn't quite make a mark. The show this week hit an all-time low with a TRP of 0.4.

Pammi pyarelal off to a slow start New show Mrs Pammi Pyarelal, where Gaurav Gera plays a woman, got a 0.9 TRP.

Even Tarak Mehta has also completed 5 yrs and has gained 3.8 TRP and has also maintained consistency in tracks and CID has also been running for past 16 yrs and still in TOP 10...

next week it will jump to 4.9 also ,, it can happen her only n channel knows the funda how they play it

well we all know why BV this week in no 2 position its only becoz of Ratan drama... now this drama is over so lets watch how many week BV sustain to its position. after few one or two weeks we will saw the real picture of BV in TRP race...

it has been proven again again that BV is not dependant on any particular actor/ actress.if the story line is good , people will definitely watch it.

regarding the accusation that channel is buying TRPS-

1. there r other shows in the same channel which is telecasting on prime time which r low in TRPs. why did the channel never buy TRP for these shows? doesn't these shows need sponsors?

2.if they have bought the TRP, why r they still in the second position? if they r buying , they could have bought the 1st place itself no?

3. does that means Star Plus was paying more to get the TRPs and GRPs?is that the reason they got more TRPs for their show?

4.compared to Colours, Star is bigger channel .y can't they buy some TRP for their much publicized other shows?

5.one more thing. how do u know tht they r buying it? were u associated with the channel?or r u assuming thing?
