Why don't they use Tarak Mehta's articles anymore?

I'm a huge Tarak Mehta fan. I've read 'Tarak Mehta na undha chashma' for past fifteen years. Even I keep reading his books based on this topic.
I wonder though, why don't they use stories from there anymore? There're SO MANY awesome articles left to be covered!

Nice post.

There are unlimited stories are written till the date for Tarak Mehta original Gujarati Writer.

He is writing from last more than 50 years.

But this show is based on Social points.

They sometimes use books to create topic but never copy book.

These all tracks are imagined by writers of show Mr. Raju & Mr. Rajan.

Have you ever note when show is started there is note "This show is based on Gujarati Novel"

So,only based never coping original. So, for this show...unlimited interesting stories are always left. So keep watching & enjoy it.😛

Yeah I enjoy the show.. But believe me, the stories in magazine are WAY more interesting than the show!

Of course, they would write based on. Have you EVER seen in any movie/show, like 'Copied from'? 🤣

can u tell me now is it available tarak mehta na undha chashma novel book..plz becoz i want to read it..if its in english..

Yes Shruti the book is available in market and it cost's 399 rupees but they are giving in 199 Rupees.

But it is available only in Gujrati language not in hindi or english.

tat is only a problem now lakshay..i cant understand gujarati.if it is n english,kannadahindi ..ten it would be easy...hmm i think its time for to learn gujarati..and tanku for the link..i try my bst to understand..

Good question.

Disclaimer : I have not read original Taarak Mehta's articles or novels. (Though I wish to read) So all my knowledge about him is through the show and the internet. But he must be really good.

I will try to answer your question from my point of view,

The show is adapted and BASED on his concept. Since he wrote it in Gujarati, it might have targeted Gujarati audience and may have more topical subjects. However when it was adapted for TV they have to target the national TV audience, so they have to have current topics which would interest the whole of India.

Sometimes with time some of the articles in newspapers become outdated and even though they must have been good to read at a particular time the subject becomes old afterwards.

It happens with many newspaper column articles. Some books are evergreen.

Though the writers are doing a good job, I wish they avoid the film promotions and bring some fresh ideas.
